Man, I skipped Borderlands 3. 1 and 2 were a lot of fun but I played 2 on so many different systems so often that in the end it was just a huge burnout. I started played The Pre-sequel a couple of times but couldn't be bothered after a few hours every time.

Got back to playing Control. It's a pretty big game but I really mean to finish it as I love weird settings. Any of you folks played this game? Any thoughts? Any SCP Foundation fans here?

Yup. Now I have my own apartment but those who didn't invest in a property in the past 10 years probably have to pay rent for the rest of their lives. Inflation is skyrocketing and internet censorship is at its peak pretty much. I can only use a VPN on my phone. I have to download stuff on my phone and transfer them to my PC...talk about workaround tactics. On the plus side, women don't wear hijab anymore and the government is too scared to fight back on that front. They still use nerve agents on our schools(women) to test it out for Russians. Can you believe this? 'Here is a school full of beautiful 16 year old Iranian school girls...let's use them as guinea pigs for our Russian overlords!!!' Terrifying. What's worse is that the opposition is divided into 3 groups that can't stop fighting each other: -The MEK - Islamic leftist group with Marxist roots. Think Kim Jong Un but with Islam. Pretty much the least popular group. Nobody likes them really. -The Democrats - They are mostly on the American democrats side. Most folks accuse them of being the Islamic republics reformists shedding skin. They(like most democrats) look after their own pockets so a lot of people hate them. -The Pahlavi Dynasty - Now this is the most popular group/person(Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi). They have a reputation for being patriots. They aren't racists and strongly condemn all sorts of discrimination against minority groups. They aren't backed by any specific country or party though, so they might have a long way ahead of them. I don't know how things will proceed but a lot of it will be decided once(hopefully) Putin shoots himself in the head.

I played Dear Esther and Everybody's Goneto Rapture and they were both awful. If you want a good walking simulator go play The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. As for RPGs...I have no idea how such a small inexperienced team is going handle a big game like this.

So I went to downtown Tehran and they only ship games now, no more going to the store and picking stuff up. Bad news since I live in a small town 17 kilometers away from Tehran. Turns out the only local gamestore in my town still has an acceptable collection of games on display. So I asked for Chernobylite(Stalker 2 hard-on?) and they had a used copy. Can't get past the tutorial... Is it just me or are games getting more and more...'indie'? Nah, @Malcadorwas right: getting old hurts. Time to bother young people and tell them how everything wrong happening around them is their fault.

Man, thanks for all the kind words. But yeah, these past few months have been crazy. People are now resorting to hit and run tactics. Stab a security guard to death and run away... Of course, the government caught up with two of them and executed them. The current government ain't gonna last till spring though. I think in about a month or so they(probably Israel or the U.S) are gonna declare a 'no fly zone' over Iran...that's when things will get interesting because a lot of the officials where booking flights for Venezuela. Heads will start rolling on the streets in a few weeks, hopefully not mine... I check the boards every three weeks or so, so don't feel worried if you get delayed replies folks. It's just that there is so much to do and to know right now, message boards aren't exactly a priority but you folks know how much I love you. Also, what's up with Guard Dog? Whatever it is I hope he is still in one piece. Once this whole mess is over with the Islamic Republic of Iran, I will invite all of you folks to my place for some nice homemade beer. Cheers.

I think you forgot about the godawful shooting mechanics. Just like @MrBrown, I am going to take it and never play it unless it's a cold winter morning and I want to travel back to 20 years ago. I mean it's pretty pointless to play it since I bought the remastered trilogy for the PS4 a while ago.

So I bought a Super Slim PS3 a while ago just to have a spare one since I loved the console so much and it was indeed one of my favorite consoles of all time next to the SNES and the N64. I started transferring all of my old data from the Slim 160 GB to the Super Slim 500 GB and now I have room for a crapton of digital games that I purchased back in the days. Played a little bit of Dragon's Lair. Damn...it's not even a game, who plays stuff like this! Now I do aim to switch back to the old Slim PS3 at some point since the disc drive in the Super Slim is so badly designed, but I need to upgrade the older PS3 with a 1TB SSD first.
