I encountred more than one snake during my first playthrough, but they can't be skinned or looted. Same goes for bats, beach crabs, fish, jellyfish and rats.- The funny things thread

The cool thing about Far Cry 3 is that the animals also hunt friendlies and villagers if they get the chance. I saw this villager standing near the river once, and as I approached him, a crocodile came out of the river and caught the poor bastard.- Top Ten of 2012 thread
I really like Suda 51's games, but Lollipop Chainsaw has been the weakest so far in my opinion. Try Shadows of the Damned instead. And I want The Witcher 2, Stalker and The Secret World ported to the PS3 a bug free version of new vegas would also be neat...- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!

Dragon Age 2: I think it's a major step in the right direction because I'm a console-tard. Crysis 2: Gameplay is good, the graphics and the atmosphere of the game are amazing, but the story is so badly told that I'm still scratching my head here after 7 hours of gameplay or so. Who am I? Who am I killing? Why am I doing all of this and why the hell should I care?!!!- The funny things thread

- Question about the Persona series
I do hate grind heavy games but the social sim parts of the game are really making me curious. That is one of the things that made me love Red Seeds Profile(Deadly Premonition in US/Europe) and while I have already played the japanese import version to death(collected every single trophy, completed every quest, I had to even use a japanese dictionary for a few of the quests and reverse engineer words from japanese to english) I am still anxiously awaiting the release of the directors cut version of the game. Guys, If you like social sim in games you MUST check this game out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Seeds_Profile- STEAM!
I bought The Witcher Collection for just 10 bucks! ...now all I need is a PC that can run them and an Internet connection that is capable of downloading 18 effin gb's in a few hours! Dammit, this is what my country get's for making nuclear bombs.- Question about the Persona series
I remember playing that briefly a few years back. The setting was pretty interesting but the gameplay eventually bored me.- Question about the Persona series
Thanks for the link dude. But I'm not a big fan of lp's unless it's some video lp without commentaries. I also frogot to mention the Persona 4: Animated Series. Does anybody know if it's some sort of anime version of the game or is it just a side story or something like that?!- Question about the Persona series
I was watching Giantbomb's Game of the Year videos and most of the guys at GB mentioned Persona 4: Arena and Persona 4: Golden on their lists. I enjoy playing Japanese games every once in awhile, mostly action adventures though, I am not a big fan of jrpg's and that's mostly because of this weird mix of turn-based combat and frequent random encounters which has always been a turn-off for me. But this game looks really nifty and I am willing to give it a try regardless of the gameplay(I am mostly interested in the story). Now, how would some of you veteran jrpgers suggest I approach the series? Is it better to start with the first Persona game or should I just start with Persona 4 right away(I am limited to the PS2 version...ughh...)? Damn, wish I had a PS Vita...- Top Ten of 2012 thread
Yes. Unfortunately, it's a very underappreciated game. One of those "best game nobody played" kind of games.- Top Ten of 2012 thread

Hydrophobia(this is what happens when the developers can decide what the ultimate goal of their game is supposed to be...or maybe they were really aiming for frustration, bad writing, bad execution and crappy gameplay) Wakeboarding HD(I was expecting something like Wave Race 64...)- The funny things thread
- Mental Disorders
No. You completely missed the point. I didn't say that depersonalization doesn't exist, I was actually trying to say that the definition in wikipedia is pretty vague. Sure, mental illnesses exist and they should be taken seriously, but having "periods of detachment from self or surrounding" doesn't mean you have a depersonalization disorder.- Mental Disorders
"Mental disease is a metaphor" - I think I won't forget that for awhile. Thanks for the link! - RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
