  1. Looks sweet!
  2. Modern Warfare Remastered: There is a new update and it allows you to play the multiplayer even though the official release is November 4th. You have to find a session to join though(just check out one of the Modern Warfare Remastered communities at the game hub and join one of the sessions there) and screenshots and videos get deleted apparently. Too bad my internet is at snail speed right now. Witcher 3: Blood & Wine: Hearts of Stone was a whole lot of fun but I've heard that I shouldn't expect the same level of writing in Blood & Wine from some folks at teh interwebz. Doesn't matter though, because a.the writing will be awesome nevertheless b.I am REALLY excited to explore the new setting. Looks very vivid and colorful! MWR multiplayer will go just fine with Blood & Wine. Good times, good times...

  4. Dear Gearbox Software, welcome to my ignore list.
  5. Can't wait! Some guy wrote something interesting in the comment section at Eurogamer.net which blew my mind: Gotta find the perfect time to play both Brutal DOOM 64 and Turok HD. It's not just nostalgia but also a ton of fun.
  6. There have been a few multiplayer games that I enjoy but the last time I really got hooked to one was with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihDjGvRiutk which makes me wonder how good Rising Storm 2 will be:
  7. Well, don't know about The Elder Scrolls series but people used to play Fallout for its dialogues. As for BF, people somehow tend to forget how awesome the campaign in the Bad Company games were and how the new Battlefront game disappointed them because it didn't have a campaign at all. With that being said, even the multiplayer isn't the same anymore. The "clunky controls" in the Bad Company games forced you into being more tactical but Battlefield 4 for instance didn't feel anything like the older Battlefield games, unless you are playing the Hardcore mode which deactivates the radar and makes the game somewhat enjoyable. Otherwise you get stabbed, sniped, shot etc. withing minutes because in the regular mode people simply rely on the radar and run around the map and engage whatever comes their way as if they were playing Quake 3. Really don't understand why DICE decided to suddenly abandon the Bad Company series after the second installment. The story seemed to have a long way to go and it was interesting. Guess EA figured out it could make a lot of money by giving some of the older whiny COD fanboys a new home and a new way to hate COD.
  8. No matter how bad the SP campaign in Infinite Warfare will be, it will never be this bad: Give me back Bad Company, DICE.
  9. Exactly. I have no idea why someone would need something like that, you could just buy the regular pro controller. I have seen a lot of stupid peripherals but that one is just whack!
  10. Hmmm...on second thoughts, I think I'll pass.
  11. I am thinking of pre-ordering this but Pillars of Eternity left a sour taste in my mouth. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't anything to write home about either. Main story felt stale and the character stats and the leveling system didn't appeal to me at all. There were different classes with a bucketload of different abilities but the progression in each class lacked diversity, you could stick to the same spells you started the game with and push all the way through to the end. Didn't finish the game though, after 47 hours I had to take a break because Unity based games make my AMD 7770 roar like a jet engine for some reason. Incredibly annoying!
  12. Day 2, Still haven't figured out the difference between this: and this:
  13. Just finished Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone and got what appeared to be the "good ending". Overall I was very impressed, can't wait to start Blood & Wine now but it's a 14 GB download and it has to wait until the 40 GB download of Modern Warfare Remastered is finished. One thing I hate with the PS4 is the way it handles updates and digital downloads. If a patch is 14 GB and it needs a small 100 MB update the PS4 demands 28 GB of free space. It can get really annoying when an update such as destiny's is 30 GB and it suddenly needs 60 GB of free space for 300 MB download.
  14. This scares me: https://www.wired.com/2016/10/red-dead-redemption-2-rockstar-future/ Rockstar games looked always better on the 360 during the last gen. Red Dead Redemption looked noticeably sharper on the 360. Currently the game looks best when played on an Xbox One with backwards compatibility.
  15. SNES was in a totally different era. I used to play many games on my SNES but back then, the only type of games I could play on the PC were DUKE, Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3D. Console games looked way cooler and diverse compared to the PC(for the 8 year old me at least). This variety sort of faded away once PC gaming became more appealing to youngsters and especially when PlayStation hit the market. The N64 tried to appeal to core gamers with games such as Turok but you could already see this variety in Nintendo games starting to fade away and with the Gamecube it was pretty much gone even though they went as far as to bring games such as Resident Evil 4 and Eternal Darkness to the Gamecube. Hell, there was even a Serious Sam game for the Gamecube but the PS2 simply dominated that generation.
  16. Well, I look elsewhere for core games and such. Nintendo has always been about playing Nintendo games, I just hope they don't suddenly drop the system dead just like they did with new 3DS and the Wii U.
  17. Forgot about Desperados: Not an RPG but one of the better western games I used to know about. Plays a bit like Commandos. There is also Dead Man's Hand if you guys are looking for more western themed games.
  18. Yeah, it was surprising to see Skyrim on a Nintendo reveal trailer.
  19. Running on the Wii U according to Eurogamer.net:
  20. There are the 3 Call of Juarez games, then there is GUN which is pretty awesome and there was also Prey 2(sort of) but beths had to go ahead and kill that one.
  21. I am pretty sure it will get released separately in less than a year or so because if it doesn't it will be destroyed by the huge Battlefield 1 fan-base. Thanks for the links, that sounds like I will be spending another few hundered hours in the Mojave soon.
  22. Playing a whole bunch of games. Kentucky Route Zero: Just started act 4 and my goodness, this game is amazing. Brilliant Soundtrack, amazing visuals that create a one-of-a-kind mood. Well written dialogue that simply connects to you in a weird way, the whole game just feels like a dream: it might not make sense but in the end you're just glad you got to experience it! Just buy it, play it and consider the 5th Act a bonus if it ever comes out. Sunless Sea: My first captain died a few days ago. I still need to invest more time in this game and figure out all the bells and whistles. Destiny: Spent most of my time with PvP until the Iron Banner event was over. Just started doing the Rise of Iron quests, I'm also doing some left-over quests from The Taken King. Duke Nukem: Megaton Edition(PS Vita): Glad I got this through the PS Plus freebies because Gearbox just pulled this out of the PSN store so they can milk Duke Nukem 3D. Gearbox has gone completely sideways as of recent. I mean I am playing this game on the Vita and not only is it the best handheld version of the game to date but it's a special treat if you play on the old Vita. The OLED screen makes the game look so darn good. But yeah, thanks to Gearbox you can't buy it anymore if you haven't already. Not spending a single dime on a Gearbox game ever again. Modern Warfare Remastered: A very well done remaster. I put a lot of time whether I wanted to spend my dough on Battlefield 1 or Modern Warfare Remastered. Ultimately I decided to go with MW since Battlefield 1 is nothing similar to Bad Company 2 or any of the older Battlefield games. If I want players constantly running around with SMG, LMG, Rifles and spears I prefer it to happen in close-quarters, not in a desert where I get sniped or overrun by a tank on my way to the mosh pit. That's it for now, I hope I can finish a few of these in the meantime so I can get back to Dragon Quest Builders and Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone.
  23. Yup, long loading times are present in GTA Online and it basically made me quit the online mode after a few days. Add me if you feel like doing PS3/PS4 co-op in the future. My PSN id is in my sig.
  24. That's nice, Sorophx. What mods are you using? It's always fun to mod New Vegas & Fallout 3. Ladies & Gentlemen, I present you... Modern Warfare: Rebastard(it's a pretty damn good remaster though, more of a remake actually): Conclusion: Vladimir Putin has no brain.
