I am decimating everyone in The Iron Banner with my level 362 Titan. I am liking Destiny's PvP more than ever, it's fun to mess around with different weapons and find the one that is suitable to your play style. Cryptic Dragon is my weapon of choice at the moment but I also got The Clever Dragon which is being dropped like candy as a reward at the end of each Iron Banner crucible match currently. You can even hear the weapon constantly firing during matches right now. :D Sticking to Cryptic Dragon for now.

I concur.

The classic mode in Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer is so awesome! No classes or anything, just weapon pick-ups and skill. To bad people don't play it as often as they play Team Deathmatch.

I was talking about the original Diablo campaign that is supposed to be added as a patch?
-
Yup, best time to reinstall Diablo 3 since the new patch is free and I never finished the original Diablo(*shame*): http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-11-04-blizzard-recreating-diablo-1-in-diablo-3-reveals-premium-necromancer-class

Played some Headquarters mode in Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer. It's pretty awesome since: a.friendly fire is on b.rounds are short c.you only have one life It has a whole lot more camping but each round can be pretty tense and exciting even though they sometimes last less then 30 seconds.

Looks sweet!

Modern Warfare Remastered: There is a new update and it allows you to play the multiplayer even though the official release is November 4th. You have to find a session to join though(just check out one of the Modern Warfare Remastered communities at the game hub and join one of the sessions there) and screenshots and videos get deleted apparently. Too bad my internet is at snail speed right now. Witcher 3: Blood & Wine: Hearts of Stone was a whole lot of fun but I've heard that I shouldn't expect the same level of writing in Blood & Wine from some folks at teh interwebz. Doesn't matter though, because a.the writing will be awesome nevertheless b.I am REALLY excited to explore the new setting. Looks very vivid and colorful! MWR multiplayer will go just fine with Blood & Wine. Good times, good times...

Can't wait! Some guy wrote something interesting in the comment section at Eurogamer.net which blew my mind: Gotta find the perfect time to play both Brutal DOOM 64 and Turok HD. It's not just nostalgia but also a ton of fun.

There have been a few multiplayer games that I enjoy but the last time I really got hooked to one was with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihDjGvRiutk which makes me wonder how good Rising Storm 2 will be:

Well, don't know about The Elder Scrolls series but people used to play Fallout for its dialogues. As for BF, people somehow tend to forget how awesome the campaign in the Bad Company games were and how the new Battlefront game disappointed them because it didn't have a campaign at all. With that being said, even the multiplayer isn't the same anymore. The "clunky controls" in the Bad Company games forced you into being more tactical but Battlefield 4 for instance didn't feel anything like the older Battlefield games, unless you are playing the Hardcore mode which deactivates the radar and makes the game somewhat enjoyable. Otherwise you get stabbed, sniped, shot etc. withing minutes because in the regular mode people simply rely on the radar and run around the map and engage whatever comes their way as if they were playing Quake 3. Really don't understand why DICE decided to suddenly abandon the Bad Company series after the second installment. The story seemed to have a long way to go and it was interesting. Guess EA figured out it could make a lot of money by giving some of the older whiny COD fanboys a new home and a new way to hate COD.

No matter how bad the SP campaign in Infinite Warfare will be, it will never be this bad: Give me back Bad Company, DICE.

Exactly. I have no idea why someone would need something like that, you could just buy the regular pro controller. I have seen a lot of stupid peripherals but that one is just whack!

Hmmm...on second thoughts, I think I'll pass.

I am thinking of pre-ordering this but Pillars of Eternity left a sour taste in my mouth. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't anything to write home about either. Main story felt stale and the character stats and the leveling system didn't appeal to me at all. There were different classes with a bucketload of different abilities but the progression in each class lacked diversity, you could stick to the same spells you started the game with and push all the way through to the end. Didn't finish the game though, after 47 hours I had to take a break because Unity based games make my AMD 7770 roar like a jet engine for some reason. Incredibly annoying!

Day 2, Still haven't figured out the difference between this: and this:
-
Just finished Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone and got what appeared to be the "good ending". Overall I was very impressed, can't wait to start Blood & Wine now but it's a 14 GB download and it has to wait until the 40 GB download of Modern Warfare Remastered is finished. One thing I hate with the PS4 is the way it handles updates and digital downloads. If a patch is 14 GB and it needs a small 100 MB update the PS4 demands 28 GB of free space. It can get really annoying when an update such as destiny's is 30 GB and it suddenly needs 60 GB of free space for 300 MB download.

This scares me: https://www.wired.com/2016/10/red-dead-redemption-2-rockstar-future/ Rockstar games looked always better on the 360 during the last gen. Red Dead Redemption looked noticeably sharper on the 360. Currently the game looks best when played on an Xbox One with backwards compatibility.

SNES was in a totally different era. I used to play many games on my SNES but back then, the only type of games I could play on the PC were DUKE, Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3D. Console games looked way cooler and diverse compared to the PC(for the 8 year old me at least). This variety sort of faded away once PC gaming became more appealing to youngsters and especially when PlayStation hit the market. The N64 tried to appeal to core gamers with games such as Turok but you could already see this variety in Nintendo games starting to fade away and with the Gamecube it was pretty much gone even though they went as far as to bring games such as Resident Evil 4 and Eternal Darkness to the Gamecube. Hell, there was even a Serious Sam game for the Gamecube but the PS2 simply dominated that generation.
-
Well, I look elsewhere for core games and such. Nintendo has always been about playing Nintendo games, I just hope they don't suddenly drop the system dead just like they did with new 3DS and the Wii U.
