  1. Been running into some crashings lately and so been meaning to ask, have they said if they got a patch incoming relatively soon or don't know at all? Just asking because if it's very soon I would probably hold off on playing until it comes, and if not, I'll just play on and deal with it
  2. I had 3 crashes and figured I'd send in the crash dump folders in case they help. I zipped em all up in one. The latest one happened when I died and reloaded. The one before that when loading a new area. The oldest one I really can't remember. Pillars of Eternity II.zip
  3. A few of my guys caught some curse, the Curse of Darkness and I've no idea how to get rid of it. Resting didn't work. Anyone know?
  4. I was a bit surprised after a hard boarding battle that I didn't get to keep their ship I just assumed if you managed a boarding, it would be yours lol
  5. You really nailed it with the humour here! Be it in dialogue or descriptions on what characters do, more than once have I been laughing out loud while playing, and I only just got the ship. Can't wait for what comes next :D This is like The Witcher 3 of Isometric RPG's! Top Quality

  7. It's not showing up for me either, but it's not that uncommon either that it doesn't show everything until the game is actually unlocked. I've no doubt as it unlocks it will appear.

  9. Easy on the eyes means it's nice to look at, graphically/visually.
  10. I could never drop a stat that low just for roleplaying reasons. I'm extremely like that too I first think of the character and put stats fitting to who he/she is, then just pick the class and deal with whatever the stats buffs. I'm too much of a roleplayer to ever be min-maxing lol. I just can't do it.
  11. I like this new system for both health and spells/abilities, personally. The only thing affecting balance with it would be spells being on encounter now, but they can easily balance that up too with how encounters are built. I don't know yet how easy or hard the game will be, though. Difficulty levels should in theory keep everyone happy, and if it isn't currently, it will be eventually. But the changes themselves, I like very much.
  12. What I've seen it can be quite punishing, but Josh has said PotD is not fully tweaked yet so (they had to focus more on bugs which makes sense) so there would be spots where battle may be too hard, or too easy.
  13. We'll see on release day I suppose. I'm guessing there will be another download then too and also that's when the game will actually unpack
  14. Wait, 16 GB? You're right... but I wonder why the updated min specs called for 45 GB then It unpacks data once it's downloaded it, to save bandwidth and download time.

Would it be possible to implement something that basically takes a snapshot of your 3D character and use it as a Portrait, and every time I change gear or whatever it just snapshots again and I get an updated portrait? It's not a major issue, but it's always nice to model the character first instead of looking at a portrait and trying to make a model that matches the portrait.
  16. The beauty of games like this, it becomes so accessible to so many people. You don't need a crazy expensive machine to get a crazy expansive game. :D
  17. Knowing me I will restart 100 times trying new backstories and classes, and hairstyles... I'm like that. Altoholic.
