Downtown and Santa Monica were major issues with me. And sometimes my computer would do a hard crash as it was loading.

Loading times is always slow especially if you are going to an area like Santa Monica when it rains. I have a high end system that is above specs and it's still slow.

The Spas is my shotgun of choice. Semi-automatic blasting power. I usually don't use ranged weapons but when I do, the Spas, Jamie Sue, and the flamer are my guns of choice.

I did that a couple of times when I downloaded some huge BG mods. Some of them took days. Good thing for Netants download utility, I can pause it while I do my regular stuff online.
