I prefer not to have a clutter so I either get my books all on PDF or I scan them in and put the hardcovers in a secured box. A LCD screen is my DM Screen. I feel like that guy in the information center of Vault City in Fallout 2 who had all his books taken away so they could be replaced by electronic copies. A PDF just can't replace a hard copy. I hate PDFs.

I'm kinda sad to see the Flames go, even if only because I picked them to move on. If Vancouver wins I can salvage a 6/8 for my team predictions.

Figured that this would work best in the PnP forum. For those that don't know Dragon = Player content magazine and Dungeon = DM content (adventures) magazine. Paizo Publishing Announcement Wizards Press Release I'm really disappointed over all of this. I've been a subscriber to Dungeon and Dragon for close to two years now and bought Dragon at the newsstand for several years before subscribing, which isn't even close to the 30 years that these magazines have been in circulation. I've been able to find something great in just about every issue that I own and while I may not have had any real opportunities to use the material it's consistently been of a high quality. Paizo will continue their Adventure Paths (Campaign modules, start at level one end at 20) through a new "book" called Pathfinder but what upsets me most is that there doesn't seem to be anything to replace the void that Dragon will leave behind in the player content arena. Apparently WotC is also going to be moving their D&D content that would normally have been in the magazines to an online format. I'm still kind of in shock over all this so I'll leave it at that for now. :sad:

Saw it Friday. Absolutely loved it. I just got back from seeing it. I have to agree with the "Absolutely loved it." comment.

I'm starting to regret not taking Turco as my goaltender in my pool. -2 points for each loss, 2 points for a win, but 5 points for a shutout. Even if he loses the next game he still would have gotten me 7 points. If he wins that would be 11 points. But who knew that Turco would have three shutouts?!

That never worked for me. I took swimming lessons as a kid. I didn't get past the second level whatever it was. I was just not comfortable in the water. It didn't help that I don't float very well. I could never roll far enough over in order to get my head above water to take a breath.

It's a little fast to keep up with. You try to post something and there are three more posts by the time you finish your own. You read a four page thread and by the time you get to the fourth page the topic is now up to 6 pages...

I really liked the videos in Imperium Galactica 2. They had some neat dogfighting videos. Unfortunately they aren't up on youtube. I have the disks around here somewhere and they have all the videos on there som "They Shinari escorts are deserting us!" *blows up*

It's starting. Someone suggested thrown weapons be rolled into a melee skill.

I could go for that.

But that would mean that for any feat that has a skill requirement would be effectively one higher than what it should be.

Slayer needs agility and strength 8. There is also an unarmed % requirement, but it's low enough that you probably start higher. Also you can only get it at level 24+.
