It depends on what you're compressing. If you're compressing mp3 files, for example, there won't be much of a difference because mp3 files by themselves are already highly compressed. But try the same thing with, say, MSWord documents, and it will be a lot easier to see the difference.

Grey's Anatomy premiered today here in Portugal. I wasn't impressed. It's Scrubs without the funny bits.

Ace is actually one of the best in compressed files. In fact, I think rar and ace have the best rates of compression in the market. At least on Windows. Zip sucks.

I saw The Departed today. It's Scorsese's best movie since Goodfellas. I even think I like it better than Goodfellas. Also, I now have a crush on Vera Farmiga. I love the way her mouth is slightly crooked.

Anyway, I'm thinking that the kukri is treated by the game as an exotic weapon for crafting purposes, and as such, I should only need 2000 more exp. to get Craft Weapon up to 23, the required level for adamantine exotic weapons.

I only tried the D. waraxe, apart from the kukri. I'm going to wait till I get another level, before trying again.

Regarding buggy games, I'd like to point out that Fallout 1 and 2 were a lot more buggier than NWN2 and that didn't stop people from considering them two of the best CRPGs ever made. And Planescape Torment wasn't exactly a bug free game either.

And I still can't make an adamantine kukri.

You're right, sorry. The kukri however is martial.

Both the kukri and the dwarven waraxe are martial weapons, not exotic.

I have 22 in Craft Weapon with the crafting gloves, and the game won't let me create adamantine kukris and dwarven waraxes. What's up with that?

The black box should only show up when you press enter. Press it again to make it go away. Or type ##showfps to see your fps.

The Problem is that those people usually have huge LCDs and are forced to run the game at ludicrous resolutions (1600x1200 and above) if they want it to look good. If they were playing the game on a 19" CRT at, say 1280x960, they wouldn't be complaining about performance.

Well, it includes a wide range of sounds, but within the poppy metal style of the new Amorphis, I'd go with Him, for example. It sounds like it's specifically marketed to angsty, moody, goth wannabe teenagers. I can't believe I'm dissing Amorphis! They were like metal gods to me.
