  1. What are your specs Roshan?
  2. "Because real life is for the weak" could be Role-Player's slogan.
  3. This is not music, but is what I'm listening to right now: Monty Python - Logic Versus Sex Good evening! The last scene was interesting from the point of view of a professional logician because it contained a number of logical fallacies
  4. It's because of different accounts in one computer or in a network, where the user doesn't have access to the game's folder, but has access(obviously) to his documents folder.
  5. What's the point of having that many saved games?
  6. Even so, don't forget that the OC is a pretty big campaign, and as such most save games would never reach 150 MB. So that 30 save games estimate is actually a low estimate. More likely Roshan has like 50 or even 60 save games. I would probably have had to save the game in my first playthrough, every single time to a different slot, to get that many save games. It's ridiculous.
  7. 150 MB a save game means yo have at least 30 save games for NWN2. What the hell is the point of having that many save games?
  8. But MS are the ones who require personal game info to be stored in the My Documents folder, which is one of the things Roshan is complaining about.
  9. Go complain to Microsoft.
  10. RTS bits in Spellforce are good fun, but the "RPG" parts are bloody awful. It's like Diablo, only infinitely worse.
  11. Roshan is a save game size specialist and he knows exactly how big any game's saves need to be. Also, I'll repeat that my final save game is 148 megs. I wouldn't call that too big.
  12. Kudos to LC!
  13. My endgame save file is only 148 megs. How could you have run out of space, do you keep saving to different slots? Even if you did that, you'd need like 100 different saves before running out of space.
  14. Asrock K8NF4G AMD Sempron 2600+ 1 GB DDR400 RAM XFX Geforce 7600GT Sound Blaster Live! 1024 Samsung 80GB 7200RPM Samsung 17" 795MB These are my specs. The processor is actually below the recommended specs. That specific scene, I'm guessing ran somewhere around 15 fps. Slight lag, but not too bad. I have everything maxed out except for the water effects (which have no bearing on that battle of course), draw distance, and the shadow resolution which is at 512x512, I think. Usually the game runs between 20 and 30 fp. The only thing that seems to kill performance with these settings is the number of actors on screen. Also, I've suffered some serious lag during the bit where you're alone in Castle Never. I don't know why, though.
  15. I'm not actually sure about what parts you need for the Required picture of NWN2:
  16. I'm pretty sure he did all the tracks in "Songs for the Deaf", and also appeared in a couple of live shows. Still, I think he was only considered a guest drummer. And J-Rock is, indeed, awesome. Can - Bel Air
  17. This was a pretty impressive battle, graphically speaking. With the rain, the lightning flashes, the smoke, and the long shadows duking it out Errol Flynn style. Unfortunately, screenshots don't really show all the awesomeness.
  18. I'm listening to the same thing that Mus? was a while. And that's Dave Grohl. Which I guess qualifies him as the QOTSA dude.Or as the Foo Fighters dude. Or as the Nirvana dude.
  19. Surreptishus is the man!
  20. And I've finished NWN2. The King Of Shadows was pitifully easy, mostly because the guy almost couldn't touch Khelgar. Also, who the hell picked the guy who narrated ending? It was bloody awful. Anyway, I loved the game, and it's easily the best PC RPG to have come out since the Infinity engine era. Still, it's nothing too brilliant, and I'm sure Obsidian can do much better. I'm already waiting for Obsidian's next game.
  21. I'm going to finish NWN2 tonight, and then hold off a second playthrough until the new patch comes out.
  22. Fantasy writing in general, and the people who talk about it as if it was all written by Kafka and Dostoevsky.
  23. Hooray for Lou! Is it 17 or 18?
  24. Me neither.
