  1. What makes you assume the gender is male?
  2. Women's volleyball is definitely not boring. >_
  3. I finally got this game. Apparently, the AI still has the habit of standing around when being bombarded with arrows. I thought working on the AI was supposed to be one of their priorities. On the plus side the graphics engine seems to be well optimized, and so far the battles have been running rather smoothly. The loading times on the other hand, aren't very fast, but that might just be my Sempron.
  4. My first Campaign battle in Medieval 2. Note the name of the rebel leader. >_ Also, it would have been nice if Creative Assembly had actually made an effort with the character's names. "Joh
  5. That shouldn't make any difference. This is really confusing me. Are you sure you're copying the files into the right folder?
  6. It's just that I did a similar thing for my dad when I had to format his computer's hard drive, and it worked like a charm. I saved the .dbx files to a safe place, I formatted the drive, reinstalled Windows, copied the .dbx files back and it worked flawlessly. Outlook just recognized the files as if they had always been there.
  7. Wait, if you place the files in the folder I gave you the address for, Outlook still acts as if there's nothing there? That's pretty weird... Is the original Outlook's version different from Outlook's version on the new computer?
  8. C:\Documents and Settings\"Account Username"\"Local Definitions"\Application Data\Identities\"bunch of numbers and letters"\Microsoft\Outlook Express\ In XP Pro, you should put the .dbx files in the above folder. The names between inverted commas shouldn't be taken literally, of course. Edit: If you do a search for all *.dbx files, you should find the right folder.
  9. What's most interesting to me about Catcher In The Rye, is that the narrator is so damn unreliable and as such you never really know whether he's actually telling the truth both about himself and about the people around him. Mostly because he seems to not have a clue about anything while at the same feeling absolutely sure about everything. In case you haven't gotten it yet, the book is all about Holden being a teenager.
  10. How can you not be sure it's a country? Uzbekistan is another one, by the way.
  11. Some parts of that are a bit over the top. The thing he did with the map was particularly impressive (in a really a bad way).
  12. It's Final Fantasy! Kind of.
  13. The atmosphere in HL is all about the way they integrated the storytelling with the gameplay instead of telling it through cutscenes and the like. That was, in my opinion, the best thing about Half-Life, and what really made the game successful along with the AI.
  14. You'd have to ask a Swede. And I'm pretty sure it's a he.
  15. Shrek 2 showed the best gags in the trailer.
  16. System Shock 2 isn't about the shooting. It never was and it wasn't planned as such. They didn't "add" roleplaying elements to hide bad combat. And besides, HL's combat, apart from the bits against human soldiers, wasn't exactly stellar.
  17. Oh yeah? Well I have three real dogs, so there!
