  1. Two completely different things, although I guess one could argue that the Truman Doctrine is a natural consequence of the Monroe Doctrine.
  2. If I was to smoke one, there would be a good chance of me needing open chest surgery afterwards.
  3. It's called the Truman Doctrine, it's not about morals, and American success in the cold war was based on it.
  4. Then I am quite confused about comments such as "God Mode" and save and reload. I never played the game, so I wouldn't know. And anyway your post wasn't actually directed at me. Which makes my post spam. Wheee. I need a drink.
  5. So you never think ahead, Sand? That's explains a whole lot.
  6. Tell them that if it wasn't for the price, I would have already bought the game. Mostly, because of your posts in this thread. You have 10000 posts, you schmuck. Hooray for you.
  7. Really? I figured module files would already be highly compressed by themselves. That does not bode well for my hard drive space what with Caesar IV, NWN2, Medieval 2, Civ IV and Sims 2 already installed, plus the huge amount of space needed to update NWN2. I might just have to get a new hard drive.
  8. Oh yes! I remember when my dad started to bring me Micro Machines from his business trips. It was that and Lego Technics.
  9. Can - Moonshake U2 weren't always bad. In fact, they used to be awesome. Just not anymore. Also, perhaps that tower is a way to raise money to help the starving children.
  10. Is 100 Mb a typical size for a NWN2 mod? Or is it a bit small?
  11. The dancing smiley was supposed to be a taunting smiley, by the way. Jayhawks - Save It For A Rainy Day This is better than Archers of Loaf. And better than U2, as well.
  12. That, I did. And he was my favourite super-hero when I was a little boy.
  13. If by excellent you mean generic pop-rock drivel, then yes. Archers of Loaf - Web in Front Drabs beat you to it, Kor.
  14. The vast majority of the population isn't very bright and/or cultured. It isn't just the Americans, it's everyone.
  15. "Web in Front"? Amorphis - Elegy
  16. I kind of hate how U2 haven't released, an even mildly good album, since Zooropa but still, music critics constantly rave about their music. The Offspring - Mota
  17. While I was playing Medieval yesterday well into the night, I'm starting to feel I got the game a bit too soon. I probably should've waited for Medieval Total Realism to come out.
  18. The ending to A Link To The Past was awesome.
  19. I've been searching the org for info on this, and I've discovered that, apparently, people's names for all the factions except the English ones are completely screwed up. One possible name for a French general for example, is "Bureau". Also, there are a few Russian names that are actual swear words. It's kind of hilarious...
  20. I'll have to ask Daniel Radcliffe, then.
  21. I was about to edit the descr_strat.txt file to have proper names for the portuguese units, when I notice that "Joh
  22. You have a point, although I think BG&E's endin wasn't that wide open. They manage to give a sense of accomplishment to the ending. To me, what was most bothersome about BG&E's ending wasn't the way it was done, but rather the fact that by the end of the game I actually cared for Jade and her friends and as such, I didn't really want the game to end.
  23. But that's not the game's fault.
