No, he is the Master Chief. However, you're not missing anything with Halo. For many it was the first FPS game they played multiplayer due to split-screen or system link. The game really isn't that great, but it is one of the best selling titles of all time none the less. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, now things seem less confusing about it :D It's a FPS and a Hexbox game, so I hadn't really went out of my way to investigate it Generic FPS are the suck.

While my experience is limited, I tend to agree And they really caught the feel of the movies with it

AvP and AvP2 are 2 of 4 FPS I've ever played. And I rather enjoyed them though probably because they were Aliens/Predator games though.

FPS can have melee combat (which would cover Physical Adepts) Shamans/Mages: Hello, who needs a gun Deckers: Again if it's built like DE Deckers could do a lot. Riggers: DE has a rigger "mod" for JC. Riggers would work well too. A Shadowrun game built in a DE mould would not only work, it'd probably rock <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But if it is an FPS without the "RPG" it won't appeal to us as much.. Maybe to the hypothetical "average" gamer but not to me, anyhow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If this is the case, I'll just hate M$ all the more. :ph34r:

Wasn't Dues Ex announced as a FPS? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Deus Ex was announced as a FPS RPG hybrid. This "Shadowrun" game on the Xbox2 will apparently be just a pure FPS, however .. The article stated that Shadowrun will be a FPS based on the RPG.. not that it will be a FPS/RPG hybrid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sucktastic

I don't think they intend it to be anything other than a FPS. Which is a shame really. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A terrible shame. Oh well though, my money will stay with me and not go to them if that's what they do.

I think that's another problem with the Forgettable Realms... they've been "detailed' to death.

Yup, Bland. Generic. Kinda dull. Not very exciting. Granted everyone has their own tastes... but I just don't see much about FR that stands out... granted it "is" better than Greyhawk though...
