Can you get enough XP though? I've heard that you don't get XP for killing things... which is sad.

I still need to get FEAR... I've been reluctant as a few people I know say it's a game that tries to be System Shock 2.

Little Flame! you do not want to move. You need... 1) CASH! And lots of it if you're not moving in with someone. 2) A PLAN! Without a plan and the means to implement it, you'll most likely be heading home and begging your parents to let you move back in. 3) A VEHICLE! Without a vehicle you will have a hard time transporting yourself, let alone your things. 4) CONNECTIONS! Moving to a location where you have no friends or family is a recipe of disaster!
