  1. I just started Kuon I haven't gotten very far, but so far this is turning out to be a wicked horror game
  2. It's so sad, pixies died while you were gone
  3. 1) Will Obsidian continue to make "safe" games (i.e. those of established properties) or will it branch out and take the risk of creating its own settings? 2) If Obsidian is managed by 5(?) main owners... How efficiently does it run with so many bosses involved? Or does each have his or her own sphere of influence within the company?
  4. Not really that practical where $$$ are concerned. You get what you pay for, but when you pay 50-60 bucks you expect to get your money's worth. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. I don't think that length of the game is and end all be all. A crap long game is much, much worse than an excellent short game IMO. Sure, I'd love for there to be an excellent long game, but I don't think developers should go about saying "Ok, we need to get 30 hours or else." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd rather have a 50 hour game that's decent than a 10 hour game that's fantastic... at least for 50 bucks.

  6. Except in Bloodlines.
  7. I dunno, if I came across a creature in a game I couldn't hurt... I think my next thought would be to run from it. But that's just me.
  8. Unbreakable in normal gameplay, but not to player stupidity. If you are going to be stupid, live and die with the consequences. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like werewolves for example? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dark Ravowned! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have an excellent memory. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is one of the Obsidz forums greatest hits  (w00t)

  10. Neither. That would be a STUPID MOVE OF THE PLAYER. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Check and mate, or bug? Is it really the devs' job to make sure their players aren't complete morons? Now, even cooler would have been if doing so would have triggered another branch in the story, where you eventually find out someone picked it up, and you have to hunt it down or something. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought it was the developers job to make their game unbreakable.
  11. You aren't very imaginative with your insults, boy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or his sucking up
  12. Go! Go! Sega!
  13. They never promised a full world.

Get something that improves your fire resistance and you'll avoid most attack spells. (attack spells npcs use tend to be either Fire or Ice based) If I recall Nords are completely immune to cold.

Here's some advice on Morrowind: Alchemy! Just don't abuse it (as in drinking 1000 +1000 int potions) or you'll break your character
  18. ok: So to recap... ...no one really knows the answer so there's no reason to tweak out over it. New thread please :D
  19. That reminds me, I need to find that for the PS1.... I'd hate to think what the pc version would do on a modern comp
  20. Wicked
  21. How scary is that game?
  22. FAN-tastic game! I keep hoping for a sequel to come about.
