  1. While, I agree that this is how it works. I don't really think Obs and Square were in much disagreement in how the game should work. Again, I really don't think Obs would have wanted to make a simple diablo clone. Though what Square did was naming it Dungeon Siege III. They wanted to distance it originally with a spin-off name Can't find the interview though. They also wanted it to be more like the Seiken Densetsu games. As soon as I heard that, I more or less knew what to expect from the game, wich meant I was going to get it day one. They used the Dungeon Siege name because it was a western IP, but they could as well have used Secret of Mana 4 and done it in that universe instead. (I'm talking about square Enix.)
  2. A big feature like how the online will work is in 10 of 10 cases decided by the publisher. In fact, many things that one might think was Obsidian's idea was in fact the idea of the publisher. Ofcourse Obsidian has a say in how the game will play, but mostly they go by what the publisher wants. What Obsidan probably had a say in: Art, story and overall dialogue. Some parts of gameplay, but they had something to follow, like there needs to be this and that in the game. This is how it works for every developer that is working under a contract.
  3. Am I the only one not blown away by this game? I haven't played it after I beat the Kayran. Don't get me wrong, I do like most things about it. The story is good, the graphics are the best I have seen on my PC, the character design of important characters is good and enviroments have a good design. The soundtrack also does its job. I have also not had a single crash or any bug of any kind. The problem is that I'm not feeling the gameplay. It feels more like an action game with not so great controls. I can handle myself in combat, but the "fun" isn't there for me. I did enjoy the combat at first, so I can't really put my finger on when I started losing interest in combat. I also don't like the menu, all of them. Not very user friendly. I'm basically only playing it because of graphics and story. Am I the only one?
  4. PS3 controller works with PC. http://www.motioninjoy.com/ Playing Super Meat Boy + The Witcher 2 with PS3 controller. After installing drivers and calibrating controller(didn't have to do calibrating myself) you open the program and choose the option that say Xbox 360 controller/emulate Xbox 360 controller or something like that. Also using a regular USB cable, no bluetooth device. Edit: Joined but will never tell you what my name is.
  5. I salute you, WUE!
  6. To be more serious, I think may 31st is the release.
  7. Maybe he "bought" it.
  8. Maybe they have another offer from Square Enix. Could be a Final Fantasy 2D spinoff. Not AAA but fairly high profile.
  9. Could not edit my post. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-05-...n-playstation-4
  10. PS4 development in progress was officially confirmed. Will post link when I get home.
  11. While I personally have no big problem with the way multiplayer works, I can't help but feel like this will hurt sales in some way. I know a lot of people on other forums that were anticipating DS3 are no longer interested in the game. I can understand them to be honest. I myself never play with strangers, a.k.a. a quick game in co-op games, but I know this is not the case for most people. Most people just like to jump in and play.
  12. I must be very lucky. No problems so far at the end of chapter one.
  13. It could have been handled better but it's not even close to a deal breaker for me. (I'm not responding to you C2B, because we seem to have mostly the same opinions about this game.)
  14. It was ok at first, but then the "letter" went downhill. I don't mind if gaming press calls out obsidian when it comes to bugs, but they should do the same for every other company?
  15. This response should be a sticky so we never need to see this question again.
  16. Pfft, Lucas has nothing on Reinhart.
  17. Thank you very much for your translation.
  18. About Age of Conan: They are still keeping subscriptions so it's more of a hybrid. F2P and P2P. As a non subscriber only 4 classes are available.
  19. New Isometric Fallout Powered By Onyx Engine. Yes, please.
  20. The first chapter in MGS4 was great. It was also the part with the most gameplay.
  21. I only I understood what it says.
  22. The official dungeonsiege3 site messed up a little bit. It says "Read the latest reviews from GamesRadar and G4TV!", but the links takes me to previews and there are no Dungeon Siege III reviews on either site.
  23. Tales of Eternia for PSP, in anticipation for Tales of Graces F.
