That felt like a crazy difficulty spike to me too. Orogun: According to my antivirus program, my TW2.exe was a trojan the first time I attempted to launch the game. Had to uninstall the av program just to be able to launch the game. (lol?)

Actually got some time to play the game today. Did the armwrestling and fightclub events. The last armwrestler was a *****, but got him down on my third try. I'm making my way to the mental house now that I have a silver sword. Played around with the settings and it now runs smooth in Flotsam. Not 60FPS smooth, but good enough for me. I'm stopping every few steps in the forest and just admiring the view. the best looking game I have played.

Square Enix made big losses, but they have some big games on the way: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Dragon Quest X Dungeon Siege 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Final Fantasy Type-0 Final Fantasy Versus XIII Hitman: Absolution Kingdom Hearts 3D Lara Croft That's 9 potential million sellers. Then they have a couple of rereleases planned. If all else fails: Final Fantasy VII remake.

The A.I. doesn't seem to be the best. If you're in a fight and you get far from your opponents they will walk away to the location they were in, then you can hit them in the back. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened in a few fights.

I killed everyone in the dungeons, even the ones outside. i'll have to wait and see if it'll come back and haunt me later in the game. (Killed a named npc.)

The first thing I did before starting the game was to disable QTEs @Tale: It auto detected me as low, but I customized my own settings. Maybe you could try different settings.

Asking the devs is pointless. Releasing a demo is up to the publisher. Since Square Enix is the publisher we will most likely not get a demo.

I had the same problem. Dying over and over again. Much easier with a gamepad.

Use your igni sign on the wooden planks. Took me a few minutes to figure out.
