  1. I've put one point in everything so far. I can't decide what to develop further. I've read that guns are very good, but I want to use swords. I'll also focus on cunning. I payed the prisoner in the tutorial 500 gold, so I could steal most things you could steal in the tutorial. Best fight so far was the one with the escaped slaves. That was an intensive fight. EDIT: Mother of God... I just met a guardian. I didn't last very long.
  2. Well, I doubt the world will be close to Morrowind's in size. I like the mood and overall feeling of the world. Nice looking foilage and actually feeling like you have to be on your toes not to get jumped in forested areas. I also like that if you explore carefully enough, you might find small places you would not have found if you weren't paying attention. I'm not the biggest fan of the combat, but I do like that most enemeis are challenging and not super easy. I had a jaguar attack me from nowhere and I almost ****ed my pants! I'm still early on in the first island, so I can't really tell yet how the exploration compares to other games yet. This island isn't huge or anything.
  3. Exploration is actually fun.
  4. Ouch, my dad had one. He never complains about pain, but the kidney stone hurt as hell, he said. Hope your mother gets better.
  5. Even if there is no no dodging, you can still evade some attacks. The Warthogs for example, when they rush you, take a few steps to the side and then hit them. Most challenging foes so far were a Jaguar and a Ghoul. I also failed to kill Severin 10+ times. Other duels have been easier, especially now that I have trained my skills a bit more. Also, Dirty fighting can be amuzing, blinding an opponent never gets old. As mkreku says, the exploration is the best part. PB are very good at building up worlds that makes exploration feel worthwhile. Voice acting has also been better than expected.
  6. It feels close to Two worlds 2 sword fighting.
  7. You can only block. No dodging.
  8. I read rockpapershotgun and gamebanshe from time to time. I visit neogaf a lot, because despite the sometimes crazy nature of the place, you can sometimes find very useful information. I also know wich members there have a similar taste in games as me, so I can check out their opinions. If it's hard to find info, youtube will have to do. I might check giantbomb for quick looks. andriasang for gaming news in Japan. neogaf works for me because most interesting info gets posted there sooner or later.
  9. You're one of those naked sushi people, right? Hey, that's supposed to be a secret!
  10. I still have 50% to go.
  11. They sent my code too. Only problem is that I need to wait 9 more hours before I can even download the game. Very annoying since this was my most anticipated RPG. Oh well, I'll pass the time by beating up some kids at school.
  12. Shogun was (is) a great mini-series. Bought the box 2 or 3 years ago because I remember liking it when I was younger. After I watched it, I know that my memory served me right.
  13. Oh, how I want a new game in this series... Why? The story ended in Defiance. I want a game in the same universe or whatever. I liked the games is all.
  14. Much appreciated.
  15. I'll go with that then. Solved the problem I had, it was steam related and not the game it seems. My problem now is that my character runs fast as hell and dialogue is laso very fast. Another problem is that dialogue sounds ends before they are done speaking. I must look into this matter.
  16. Downloading Deus Ex GOTY Ed. as we speak. Any essential mods? Lol, as soon as was finished with the post, the download was complete and when I start the game it says: Couldn't find Steam.
  17. Today I got $1450 for doing nothing.
  18. Oh, how I want a new game in this series...
  19. Looks interesting, indeed. But would it kill them to release an interesting gameplay video?
  20. Doing the last missions in Avadon, or at least i think they are some of the last missions.
  21. It did end, but the wait is short. I only played two classes, the ones I was eager to test before the beta started. The monk was a fun meele character, and I guess he'll get cool moves as he gets more levels. The Witch Doctor was also fun. I liked sending out my dogs ( I think they were dogs) to distract enemies and then i could stay back and fire at the enemies. I wasn't expecting the WD to be fun to play, but I did enjoy playing as one. I might try the Barbarian for a little while, but I usually get bored with that type of character. The other two classes aren't very interesting to me at the moment. So I'll probably main a Monk or Witch Doctor.
  22. But... how did it taste?
  23. It's defenitely worth a try. The question is, when will they try? We have The Banner Saga, Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun Returns as successful examples. Take advantage of that and announce something. I think an Obsidian announced kickstarter Rpg would do very well. Maybe I'm crazy, but I do think they could pull off Wasteland 2 numbers, or maybe I'm being naive.
  24. I wasn't a big fan of IV either. I forced myself to complete it.
  25. I hope it's good, because what I have read from beta impressions, some changes are not for the better. I'll remain optimistic.
