I was surprised to see I have zero played hours for any of my Steam games for the last two weeks. Only PC game I'm playing right now is Avadon (non Steam version), and it's not very regularly. I play it every four or five days. Consoles and portables are taking up most of my time at the moment. Mostly playing JRPGs at the moment. Risen 2, Darksiders II and Diablo III are pre-ordered and will make my PC run hot.

First time I watch a NHL game in 2-3 years. They are fighting more than they are playing. I guess that it was inevitable in a Flyers vs Penguins game. It doesn't help that Jagr and Talbot play for Philly now. Last time I watched Talbot play, he seemed to do well for the Penguins.

I forgot to mention Dexter's Laboratory. I still watch it in youtube sometimes. Make it a puzzle or adventure game.

Sqaure Enix WRP franchises: Deus Ex, Thief, Anachronox, and I bet that if they did a game in the Legacy of Kain universe, it would have RPG elements.

I'd love to see a new Cowboy Bebop game.

I know what you guys mean, but so far I have supported Wasteland 2, The Banner Saga and Shadowrun Returns. These projects will likely not be canned. These, I think of as pre-orders. The same goes for a future Obsidian project. There are two or three other interesting projects that I might support down the line, and I don't count them as "pre-orders".

I don't blame the actor who plays Stannis, he's doing a good job with the lines he's been given.

Avadon: The Black Fortress. I don't know how much I have left. I think I've been to each region twice now. Probably not much left now. Will try to finish a couple of quests that were too difficult for me earlier, and then hopefully the end game stuff will be next.

You're right about the locations. I kept thinking to myself that there should be more of them.

I don't replay many JRPGs anymore, tbh. I spend a lot of time trying to do everything (if possible) in one playthrough and move on to the next game. The last JRPGs I replayed were FFV and FFVI.

I don't know how their deal with South Park is, but why would they need a released game. They need more work if anything. Bad choice of words. I'd like to see them release something soon. The THQ situation isn't the most stable at the moment. I know they're not the publisher and only the distributor, but I can't help but feel pessimistic considering all the bad news we keep getting from both THQ and Obsidian. I do however hope that they will release footage of the game soon, it certainly wouldn't hurt considering some sections of the game are complete.

So it might not actually make it for 2012? It seems like Obsidian needs a released game soon.

Even more Tales of Graces f. I'm no longer controlling the main character. I'm controlling one of the more annoying characters because she's lightning quick and fun as hell to play as. I'm also playing Legend of Mana. This game still looks amazing despite being a PS1 title. I've completed 17/67 adventures so far. Completing all 67 adventures in one playthrough is very unlikely, but I think I'll manage to do them all thanks to a spoiler free guide that tells me in wich order to do the quests. It has no combat tips or nay tips on treasures, etc.

Most of my favorite games have already been mentioned. If you guys own a Nintendo DS, Radiant Historia is a must. It actually has a protagonist that isn't a complete moron. He makes sense, and can take care of himself. It was refreshing seeing a protagonist like him, only thing bothering me was his name: Stocke. There's an interesting story about a decaying world and warring countries, the combat system is turn based with some twists and the music is brilliant. This game really made me get that SNES rpg feel that I have been longing for. Took me around 45 hours to complete. Tales of Graces f The game doesn't have the most interesting characters or the world's best story, but the gameplay alone is worth it. Fast paced battles, that rewards you for actually playing with some skill. You gain skills from different titles you unlock. You unlock a title, equip it and when you get enough skill points, the skill is learned. You unlock more and more titles for fighting enemeies, using skills a set number of times, buying stuff, etc. It's also not unusual to spend a lot of time improving equipment. Called "Dualizing" in this game. Tales of Vesperia. It might not have the awesome combat of Graces f, but the combat is still good, and it is the better overall package. Yuri is a surprisngly good main character for a JRPG. He does what he thinks is right and doesn't take sh** from anyone. The rest of the cast is a mixed bag. Some are likeable and others not so much. There are many other games I wanted to recommend, but I'd just overdo it.

Today is the Bad News Day... How many employees are there currently at Obsidian?

Reading this made me sad. I always thought Obsidian was a perfect match for him. I hope to see more projects from you in the future.

Sounds like a plan to me! Avellone said in a rockpapershotgun interview that a spiritual succesor to Alpa Protocol wouldn't be possible with Kivkstarter funds. Not really a big surprise if you ask me.

My Reinhart was a glass cannon. But it was so damn fun playing as him, because his attacks are insane when he also starts critting enemies frequently. Reinhart and Katarina were my favorite characters to play as. Anjali was fun, but I didn't enjoy playing as Lucas.

We're in April but you'd think we're in the middle of December. I hate snow and cold with a passion. I have a cold and my throat hurts.
