It's a goid thing they fixed this for Trine 2. I played Borderlands co-op for 3,5 hours yesterday.
-
Managed to get in with another 3 players and it was more fun since they did "rush" a little but it was still at a fun pace. Played the Witch Doctor and he was also fun to play. I jumped in a game with players that were 4 levels higher than me, but it seemed that by the end of our run, I was nearer closer to their levels. All in all, I'm happy with my pre-order and knowing that I will sometimes be able to play with my brother makes me happy. I died for the first time since I got a little reckless and tried to melee my way through a group of enemies, but lesson was learned and I was able to sruvive the rest of our run.

Played with 3 other players, but they were rushing like mad, and I don't like that, not even after having completed the beta yesterday.
-
So the hypnosis worked?

I was wondering if anyone is interested in a co-op game? (When I actually manage to not get the 37 error.) I'm in now, will probably try the Witch Doctor.
-
Played throught the beta and I kept thinking to myself that they should have allowed higher difficulties. I'm not great at these kind of games despite having a lot of fun with them, but this felt easy. I guess they can change the balance, so I'll not pass judgement yet. I didn't die once, and I didn't use many skills. I tried them all out, but mostly I just used the two first attacks you are given at the start of the game. The runes were helpful, I guess. I played as a monk, btw. I don't know if difficulty gets tougher if you play in co-op, but I guess it is. Played alone and I kept wishing that I was playing with somebody. Maybe I'll play through it tomorrow as another class if someone is interested.

EU servers will actually not be up. American is the only choice. You'll get the 3003 error on Euro servers. Everyone I know who got in, plays on American servers for now.
-
They've capped the number of people that can play for now.
-
If I'm not in by 10.ooPM, I'll try again tomorrow. (I'll probably be back in an hour or two.)
-
I think Atari owns the Darklands property, but the "IP" is essentially the 15th century HRE. Tease me, tease me, tease me baby, I'm about to lose control.
-
Also, don't try to connect to the Euro servers. Try the American.
-
I've gotten error 75 and then error 37 (busy servers, surprise),
-
The stuff inspired by Demon's Souls is probably not something that will affect the gameplay that much. I think it allowed you to write messages that other players could see online.
-
They'll be live soon as it says on the log in screen.
-
I too hope they don't change too much. I bet the Sorceress and Valkyrie will be redesigned, but i think VW will still have a lot of creative freedom. The game was also supposed to have some Demon's Souls inspired things, and now that Atlus owns the IP as a whole, they can help with that.
-
Managed to log in, but it's still not live. Still says that I have no license for the beta. How much time left? 22 minutes?
-
I tried to log in and it gave me a 3005 error, whatever the hell that means.
-
I'm sorry!
-
I was going to play as the Amazon. Anyway, this being is Atlus' had is good. Otherwise it would most probably have been cancelled. This is the game that will make go out and buy a Vita, despite it being available on PS3 too.
-
Darksiders II delayed until August. I guess it gives me more time for some other games until then.

Interesting choices from the FF series you chose. VI, IX & XII are my favorite numbered games and I also love Tactics. I know the teams working on these games are very large and I know the teams as a whole deserve praise, but I still have to single out one person: Hiroyuki Ito. Every game he's had a major role in has been great. I hope he gets to work on a new FF game.

That's not exactly what I mean. I feel like JRPG's are getting low scores that they don't deserve. Most of the time it's because a reviewer complains about the story.(In this case, I agree that many JRPGs released in the last few years have average or cliche stories). Then they give it a 6/10 or something. Then I read Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2 or Skyrim reviews and those stories are praised. It might sound like I'm blindly defending JRPGs blindly, but I'm not. There are a fair share of crappy JRPGs like Enchanted Arms, Eternal Sonata and so on.

Ouch, ouch and ouch. >_< I know! I won't have the time to play many other games.
-
When JRPGs get unfair treatment in the western press, it doesn't really help the genre and it also doesn't make Japanese companies more willing to release their games in EU/NA.
