Going through a bunch of menus while a guy explains the crafting system isn't exactly thrilling gameplay. I do appreciate all the crazy little things they're doing outside of the actual action part.

I mean the magic and tech stuff go together pretty well in the setting, you don't have a sharp line between the fantasy and cyberpunk elements. It's not like they just mashed the two concepts together, it's been built that way from ground up.

Finished The Atrocity Archives and The Jennifer Morgue by Charles Stross. He mixed together classic spy fiction and Lovecraftian mythos in a nice big pulpy pile. The setting and humor are excellent, as is the story in the Atrocity Archives. I felt that the Jennifer Morgue tried to do too much and ended up being all over the place. Every Lovecraft fan should check this series out. If you want to get a feel for it, try one of Stross' free short stories from the same setting.

Why wouldn't they include Clear Sky? Seems kind of weird to just leave it out. As for why they hacked the PS3, it's because they could.

Well, the Laundry PnP should come out pretty soon, mixing up British spy fiction with Lovecraft and casting spells with Palm pocket PCs... I never thought of Shadowrun as cheesy, it takes everything pretty seriously.

You could make that without flash and it would be less clunky and everything would load a bit faster.
