I don't really like the look of the characters, but I'm sure it'll be fun(and exponentially more disorienting).
The fat one looks kind of like a Modron...
By "killing the dice rolls" I assume that they'll just use a more appropriate random number generator system.
Rolling a D20 might be cool, but it's far from perfect, especially at higher levels.

Deus Ex is far from being close to a RPG. It played as a shooter, had the depth of story of a shooter, it is a shooter. Maybe a shooter with some originality (like having some minor augs and bits of dialogues), but not a RPG.
I was referring to the "light-RPG" bit.
Why can't you judge a game on it's own strengths instead of trying to fit it into one of the genre holes? The lines are pretty blurry up to this point.
Good idea, Tale. Beyond Good and Evil was a horrible boat racer, San Andreas was a terrible RPG and Red Faction barely had any adventure in it at all!
