  1. Do you ever actually sleep, Tale?
  2. You Americans and your comic-based jokes... So how about that awesome CGI trailer?
  3. Amnesia is a survival horror game with adventure-ish elements. Plus it has Dark Corners of Earth style sanity system and no weapons AFAIK.
  4. Why bother? Nothing will ever top Freedom Force...
  5. It has cutscene-y things between the platforming, so it might as well be an adventure game, kind of like God of War is an action/adventure game.
  6. He said adventure game as well.
  7. They already did this.
  8. That's pretty much Amnesia: The Dark Descent minus the dialogue part.
  9. *looks it up* So yeah, I think I'll just block that out.
  10. I didn't see any 8-bit mini-games in that trailer. Seems like another instance of Japanese developers trying to make what they think the western audience wants and ending up a whole bunch of nonsense. YMMV.
  11. Waiting for Steam to auto-patch it seems like a valid option.
  12. Mafia II
  13. This is a sequel to American Mcgee's Alice, yes. The old game was pretty awesome, but the gameplay probably doesn't hold up anymore.
  14. In actual news, we have a new Alice: Madness Returns trailer and a few screens:
  15. That's probably a special combo finisher move.
  16. I'd also like more parody/deconstruction style games like Torment(for WRPGs) and Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden(for JRPGs). The latter is free and awesome, by the way.
  17. I think the theory was that you need conflict for a story and literally fighting people is the easiest way to do it. And now all you do is fight a variety of things.
  18. Actual modern times suck, it's all corrupt governments, international conspiracies and PMCs.
  19. It needs a *go mad* option and a *already mad* option. Oh and you could just point the developers at TVtropes' plot and setting sections.
  20. A patch in name only!
  21. It's all good as long as you go mad at some point. Think of all the awesome dialogue options.
