Umm, ok. I guess deconstructing that would be ending up with neither or everyone still losing something important or possibly avoiding the choice through some clever machinations. The thing with no-win situations is that if you still win, it's unrealistic.

As for the spoiler part, it's because you aren't risking anything in a game, you either succeed or reload.

Just play it with a gamepad. The story and characters are surprisingly good and hold up till the end.

So how about that sequel, Ubisoft? They are working on it, the HD version will help generate buzz. It's all part of the master plan.

Another way to look at it would be to consider it a view on American action/spy movies through a heavily Japanese lens. Or possibly just a look at what a Japanese developer thinks the western audience wants.
