  1. Awesome selection of skills, Bioware would be proud. I like how they mixed up classical skills with the unorthodox morphine. Is the leather-clad heroine also a druggie?
  2. That's Alan Tudyk aka Wash from Firefly. I though everyone knew... Also, Victor better get's his face fixed, he got sliced up pretty bad.
  3. Well that was certainly interesting, they really managed to stuff three episodes of content into this one. I can't say that I like Alpha or even understand his motives. Whedon's villains are usually really good so I hope that the next episode will give some more insight into his character. EDIT: It's like they went out of their way to find the most unlikable child for the abused girl.
  4. Both the Dune RTS and adventure game are pretty highly rated these days. Heck, I played Arthur C Clarke's Rama adventure game and liked it...
  5. Could anyone who has read the book(s) answer this: did you feel that the Witcher license added anything significant to the game/story or would it have worked as well/better with an original IP? Without too much spoilers if possible (For the game that is, I could care less about the book.)
  6. Whatever happened, happened. Desmond is the only true variable in this equation, because he is "special".
  7. You just hate the PC, don't you? Did it burn down your village and kill your mentor?
  8. In that case, I think your mouse skills need some have mods to be of any use. Seriously, silenced SMG = BEST GUN EVAR. One mouse click to their head and they go down without a sound. My main problem was the recoil. In any case a stand-up fire just wasn't fun.
  9. I'd say the combat did okay for stealth stuff and not so well for going in and shooting everyone in the face(which is way less fun anyway). Placing mines on walls and stunning people with the cattle prod was awesome, but the assault rifle and auto shotgun needed some heavy mods to be of any use.
  10. Yeah, it's a blessing, but in this case it only get's you half-way. I don't think you can block the ads in the actual flash video player itself.
  11. Woah, Eloise is hardcore, sending her own son to the Island only to be killed by herself. I guess that's the difference between Daniel and Eloise, Daniel still tried to get Charlotte to leave, while Eloise was just an ice cold time killa. Other than that, lots of stuff confirmed, not much new. EDIT: Richard holding the cup and taking it easy was awesome.
  12. I mostly agree, but I wouldn't consider it unlucky, they were fully aware that they were making a sequel to a highly lauded game and that the expectations were high. It's not like it was impossible to make a game of DX's quality or even better, they just failed miserably at it.
  13. Drunk posting again?
  14. Yay! Anyway I do think that he does a good job bringing out the flaws in his own unique style instead of just randomly hating the game/developer/world. The comparisons are also incredibly accurate in addition to being hilarious. On a side note, it looks like the Escapist realized that ZP is the lone reason anyone visits their site and put as many ads in/on/around it as possible. As long as it helps topay for Yahtzee's Branson Pickle, I'm fine with it.
  15. Spoony did a more well-rounded review of it some time ago. Also it's on the Playstation Network, that's probably why no one has ever heard of it. Even though Yahtzee's shtick is obviously to accentuate the negative (although not always, I guess), when I have played the games he reviews I do find myself agreeing with many of his points, even when they are negative. After a while of reading the same reviewer, one begins to get a sense of how their take on things (games, movies, etc) meshes with one's own. With Yahtzee, I find we tend to respond negatively to many of the same thigns. I totally enjoy Yahtzee's negativity and his general style. I just linked the other review because it provides some nice background information on the game(because no one had heard of it). Also I don't really like horror games. The "well-rounded" comment might have been a bit misplaced.
  16. Seems like the good old case of "you don't really want to know the petty little details". I doesn't really matter who's fault it was. I just hope that Good Old Games won't suffer because of this, they haven't even got System Shock 2 or any of the IE games up there.
  17. What's with all the IW defenders? I was a failed attempt to dumb down Deus Ex for the consoles nothing more and nothing less.
  18. Spoony did a more well-rounded review of it some time ago. Also it's on the Playstation Network, that's probably why no one has ever heard of it.
  19. Some images from the lost 13th post-apocalyptic episode featuring Felicia Day. There's apparently some evil spoiler hidden in the images, but I didn't see it...
  20. A console port is quite few step away from whoring out an IP for spinoffs. I was talking about the third mysterious Witcher IP project. The Witcher would have still been a good game without all the Witcher IP window dressing. I would like to see new IPs and new directions instead of milking the only one you have.
  21. Maybe it's a good thing that the Witcher won't get whored out like Tony Hawk or Guitar Hero. I'm all for having strong main titles and not a million cashcow spinoffs. That Witcher Kart game wouldn't have done too well anyway.
  22. You can get a PC that will run Witcher maxed out for dirt cheap these days. My three year old rig had no problems. That is IF you really want to play it, otherwise your loss.
  23. Well, good news! Now you can buy the cheaper and already available Enchanted Version for the PC.
  24. Apparently the economy got them. Link
