  1. I doubt it. But it could be financially successful and not match up to the expectations of some git in EA marketing section. That's a bigger worry. But that was Biowares mistake given EA's record of killing all creativity. EA bought Bioware, so I don't see how that would be Bioware's mistake. Being financially successful usually means meeting or exceeding the expectations.
  2. Epic as Great Wall of text, or inflammatory debates? Either? I got a rise out of several when I questioned whether I was explaining my points effectively and should I expand my posts I have been know to post seven paragraph posts, but I try never to put-down or insult those I reply to. Good times!

  4. It may have been someone with a similar name. I don't really go to NMA too often and the are the two names that I remember. Were you one the Beth FO3 board? There is a Gizmo @NMA ~He's been there for years. I took the name @Bethsoft's forum the 2nd day after the FO3 forums opened. (But that Gizmo hadn't posted in years I think) @NMA my handle is Gizmojunk (after my Youtube account), I asked BN to change it for me and he did. Gizmo seems an all too common web name outside of Fallout forum threads. Did you have epic flame wars on the Beth forums? I probably remember you from there Good luck with the mod, guys! It's just hard to get exited when there's nothing to see at the moment. When the August 15th beta comes, be sure to post a link here.

  6. Whether or not DA will actually be a good game(we'll see when it comes out), I fear that it won't be financially successful and will end up being the final nail in the old school wrpg coffin.
  7. NMA disapproves? I think that most at NMA have never heard of me, and none would consider me one of them (though I've had an account for some time, and have lurked there almost decade). I don't like MMO's typically, and (I think) would like a Fallout MMO even less so. I read about V13 and could only imagine... http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj125/Gizmojunk/FalloutMMO.jpg For some reason I think of you and Brother None as the face of NMA. Maybe it was the Bethesda FO3 forums?
  8. His trick is that he mixes the crazy comedy with real criticisms that are spot on. Even if the game is mostly good he manages to bring out the bad things in a hilarious way. You could think of him as a monkey who makes beautiful art by throwing poo.

  10. lol If it's on your top 10 list, it MUST be good.
  11. I just can't believe that there are people who are willing to play the game enough to level all they stuff to lv 9999, it's worse than drugs.
  12. We replied at the same time!
  13. DA isn't out, therefore it cant really be discussed yet. It could be the next best thing since pre sliced bread, or it could be just like all its predecessors. No use commenting. I believe they said there won't be any good/evil meter.
  14. Same Fallout 1/2 turn-based combat? Does everyone in the town go to slooow turn-based mode when anyone starts combat?
  15. What are you using for in-game chat? Irc?
  16. They own the rights to the Fallout franchise, including Fallout 1 and 2 and now apparently also a potential Fallout MMO. Some companies have the habit of sending legal threats to anyone using their trademarks. I doubt that Bethesda would care unless your Fallout online thing got really big. I just wanted to warn you about the possibility, lots of awesome mod projects have been shut down because of overly protective companies. Is it all hosted on one central server? Do you want to make it one big world or lots of small player-run servers?
  17. I thought it's Tuesday. : x In summer all the days melt together. Anyway, it's pretty funny, but from what I've heard the game is pretty bad.
  18. Nope, that fizzled. I think it was something along the line of Bethesda got the rights back as Interplay had failed to show that they had actually started production. Well, then Beth can sue them. I don't know how C&D or sue happy they are, though.
  19. Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood In your face, Oner!
  20. Radaway?
  21. Ultima Online might have been more "hardcore" than today's MMOs, but it certainly wasn't any better: Sign me up for some of that Fallout co-op, though. Watch out for Interplay, they're making the "official" fallout MMO and can potentially send you a cease and desist or sue you.
  22. Playing Stratosphere: Conquest of the Skies, who doesn't love ramming a spiked flying island into another flying island. Great memories.
  23. Why? As long as they're legal and regulated to prevent abuse they're no different than any other business. I agree, they're doing pretty well in the Netherlands.
