  1. World of Warcraft > Fallout 2 Great, now the NMA is going to rush into this thread as well.
  2. This It's even better when playing it.
  3. I'm sure everyone knows some great games that (practically) no one else has even heard of. It would be nice if you posted a screenshot and a short summary about why it's great. Also, the obscurer, the better. Sanitarium(1998) - A point and click adventure game with a great atmosphere, really does the madness/insanity thing well. Nexus: The Jupiter Incident(2004) - An unique space strategy game. You only have a couple of ships, but you control all the different weapons separately, divert power from engines to shields, send fighters to destroy the enemies shield generator etc. It also has a pause feature ala BG2 where you can give commands and look at the beautiful battles from all angles.
  4. Sorry, when I think of flash games, I think of ~12 year olds playing Adventure Quest in the computer lab. I liked Radical Aces and the same developer's racing game.
  5. Trabants are .Hungarian culture lacks hungarian cars, as far as I know. Well, I saw them in Budapest and now when I think of funny plastic cars, I think of Hungary.
  6. I remember really collecting those damn diamonds to get my revolver grenade launcher, but the explosions felt like throwing firecrackers I quit somewhere around the second map, the missions got too repetitive.
  7. I think I heard that, not sure though. Somehow glad it changed. You mean those 30-40 year old ambulance cars that looked like (badly) handmade TMNT cosplay cars? TMNT cosplay cars? I meant these.
  8. The similarities are in the grammar as far as I know. Both languages are agglutinative for example. If there are words we borrowed/shared, then I can't recall them. Besides, what about your l337 google translator skillz? Sure I can google translate everything, I meant by just looking at it. Anyway, Hungarian is pretty funny and they have the weird plastic cars. I remember "goodbye" being really long in Hungarian and "thanks" sounded funny.
  9. What have I done? I created a fertile breeding ground for crazy MMO talk.
  10. Just seeing the different ways the main dude "heals" himself is worth the ~$20 it costs nowadays. There is a map editor if I'm not mistaken.
  11. Like the games? *ba dum dish*
  12. That's almost correct. Okay, try this: Mi a rossebet hadov
  13. That's almost correct.
  14. Nope, there's no point in blaming anyone but myself. Ken Levine made the game he wanted and achieved both critical and financial success, the game didn't fail, my expectations were too high. I did learn my lesson, though.
  15. I take it that you played the hell out of System shock, then System shock 2; Greatly anticipated Bioshock as a game of the same vein (not same vain), and felt really let down by it and it's forecast future. I bought the hype and set my expectations too high. I agree about the untapped potential.
  16. Nad peaksid olema p
  17. So the bottom line is that even if you despise FO3 from the very bottom of you heart, there is no need to bring it up it every time it is mentioned here. I was very disappointed with Bioshock, but I got on with my life, even though a lot of people see it as the best thing since sliced bread.
  18. Pretty much. Isn't Lucasarts awesome?
  19. Nobody is saying that, it was just Brother None's sarcasm. Read Hurlshot's post. It may indeed be a good summary of what happened here (I don't know)... but it was not deliberate action. I dunno if most here know... but when I mentioned Press demo emissaries, it was reference to BN's exploits a few years ago, when he went personally [with valid credentials] to a Bethesda press demo, to get a first look at Fallout3. Afterward there was a photo of him taken, hand over brow, and kinda depressed looking. I don't think he's implying that it was some kind of deliberate action. I am well aware of Brother None's exploits.
  20. Nobody is saying that, it was just Brother None's sarcasm.
  21. That's actually a pretty good summary of what happened on these forums after Obsidian announce FO:NV I totally agree.
  22. This you just saw in the posts above, and done well too. Elaborate please.
  23. Isn't that pretty much every MMO, though?
  24. I think that one "leaked". It was supposed to be a proof-of-concept trailer for some investors or something. And anyone who hasn't played Beyond Good and Evil, go get it from Steam or Good Old Games(no DRM) now. It's great!
  25. Sometimes the hate seems to leak to other forums, such as this one here as seen earlier in this thread. My main point is that continuing to furiously say how bad FO3 is, has gotten old. Most people are aware of your general stance on FO3, some people still feel the need to tell everyone how bad FO3 is. I don't have anything against the site, it has a lot of nice Fallout resources and keeps up the news. I don't read the forums, as I said the hate seems to spill over to other places from time to time. I'm not accusing NMA, I'm accusing the people who use the slightest mention of FO3 to write two paragraphs about how bad it is and I'm personally tired of it. Huh? I'm pretty sure you can't tell the truth and lie at the same time. I'm not blaming you, I'm not even blaming NMA, I'm blaming the people who apparently can't stop themselves from being angry almost a year after FO3 was released. You know, all that plastic isn't good for you! Mr Boo started it, this is just the natural conclusion after mentioning FO3.
