Divinity 2
No language should have words with different genders. It's a damn tragedy of linguistic proportions.

Games you are looking forward to
There's a new Alan Wake gameplay trailer out. It's the same part from the E3 demo, but it's longer and HD. In case anyone is wondering about the sparks, you use light to defeat some monsters(apparently flying microwaves) and weaken others so that you can shoot them.

Dragon Age
So what were you complaining about? Is putting out a new processor every year too often? If you weren't complaining, then sorry.

Maybe it's like Eschalon: Book 1? In that game you had a mapping skill. If you had no points in that skill, you had no map. If you had a few points in it, the map looked barren and like it had been drawn by a three year old. But the more points you spent on the skill, the more detailed your map became, filling out with colours and names and stuff. Best. Skill. Ever. That's pretty cool. You can also draw you own map in the DS game Etrian Odyssey.

All thanks to Intel who's releasing a new core processor every year. My core 2 duo will last me another 4-5 years before I consider upgrading. It's called progress. You want them to stop developing better, faster and more efficient processors because you can't afford them? No one is forcing you to upgrade, I'm running an old Opteron processor and still doing pretty well. I love how everyone is "forced" to play it on the 360 now. You can get a computer that plays all this year's and probably next year's games for about the price of a decent HDTV. PC tech is way ahead of console stuff by now and you can play most games on mid-range systems without trouble. Also, your 6 year old computer is actually older than the 360, why would you expect a modern game to play on it?

Why does the minimap look like someone drew it in paint?

Dragon Age
Quad core has been the norm for about a year now. I'm sure it will work perfectly fine with a decent dual core as well. It would be nice if the game actually USED the extra cores for something, unlike 90% of games at the moment.

The Force Unleashed 'Ultimate Sith Edition'
Even the Gametrailers review is down on it. I guess I'd be happy with just a PC demo.

The Force Unleashed 'Ultimate Sith Edition'
The reception was pretty lukewarm, but I'm still interested in some pretty lightsaber fights and Euphoria Engine powered force powers. It does suffer heavily from the dreaded quick time events, though.

How will it end?
Don't look at me... I vote for a snazzy gamma ray burst.

What are you playing now
It's pretty tyte.

What are you playing now
All of the Fallouts are on Good Old Games if you want. I don't think you can get any of the Infinity Engine games digitally, but I'm sure the compilations are on Amazon.

What are you playing now
You could pick up Ground Control from Good Old Games. It's pretty awesome... Or play Portal if you haven't.

What are you playing now
I'm sure you can stop whenever you want.

What are you playing now
It great that you like it and all. I didn't really mean that you should only ever play Max Payne...

Borderlands
That actually prompted me to search for a Borderlands thread, but I found none so I created this one. Sorry to steal you thunder, but this game deserves it's own thread. DJ Champion - No Heaven

Borderlands
Rage isn't coming out in this October, also it doesn't have an awesome art style (yet).

Borderlands
I doubt that they would make a co-op only game. It's probably single player with optional co-op or AI companions and multiplayer with different modes. Both single player and multiplayer are confirmed.

Borderlands
It's just something new and interesting, kinda like Prince of Persia was last year(in terms of art style at least). I'm interested to see what they do with it.(Instead of seeing the boredom that is Modern Warfare 2[a realistic military shooter? yawn], for example)

Borderlands
I believe it is, stylizing can really make stuff look awesome. (it also says gameplay trailer...) The guns are supposed to be made from a bunch of different looking parts, so you have like ten different barrels for a shogun, ten different stocks etc. It's a bit like Diablo with a bunch of random stuff that has varying stats.

Borderlands
Apparently we don't have a Borderlands thread. It's amazing how a totally unknown game found it's style and embraced it. A year ago I didn't even know it existed, but now it's one of the more exiting things coming this fall. Here's the latest trailer

Dragon Age
Damn her! I thought it was legit at first and decided to buy it so I could gift out the 360 version to one of my buddies. Rat bastards! I'm pretty sure that most of it is true. The sausage is probably not made by dwarfs, though....

Dragon Age
Damn, I can't figure out if it's Felicia Day or not. It has a link to The Guild at the end and Felicia Day is one of the tags, but I'm no good with voices Edit: According to the Bioware's twitter it is. YAY!
