  1. It never ceases to amaze me how there are fans of PST(who are trying to make a sequel, no less), who never bothered to actually check out any of the source material. PST doesn't even cover a fraction of the wonder that is Planescape. For some great Planescape stories, check out Shemmy's Planescape story hour 1 and 2
  2. That Arkham Asylum thing is just a preview. It's supposed to loop right into the main trailer at 16 seconds. I've noticed that sometimes this doesn't work on Gametrailers. Try it a couple more times and it should eventually work. Right! I have an account and I guess it disables the previews.

  6. I'd check all the source material before writing something using that. There's some on Planewalker and a whole bunch on The Mimir if you don't want to track down all the books. Of course "The Cage" can be taken in many ways, you just asked the question and that is the default answer.(in the ficition) If it's just some weird portal side-effect then don't make a special capitalized name for it and it still doesn't seem very vital to the story.
  7. First of all, the "zomg portals are closing" thing has been done in at least one of the official Planescape campagins.(It might have been Faction War, but I'm not sure). Secondly, creating a whole new plane "Netherspace" is pretty much disrespecting the source material, especially when it's completely unnecessary. Sigil is called "The Cage", because you can only enter and exit via portals, no other means of transportation work. If you want some inspiration on creating good characters and story, check out TVtropes. Apparently you're the romantic and I'm the realist.
  8. No there aren't. There might be a problem with the PC version because "it's up to Microsoft" who publishes the game.
  9. No idea, but I'd overclock that C2D to the high heavens. No need so far, even Crysis runs on maximum in 1680 by 1050, well above 35fps. But you could run it at 60fps...

  17. Also, ideas are cheap, everyone has million "good" ideas. The trick is to actually realize even one of them.

  20. This one's old. It was new to me, dammit! If anyone cares there's also three battlereports, which are basically SC II multiplayer matches with pros and commentators: 1, 2 ,3
  21. That would depend of what the story was about. How about Planescape: Conviction, delving deeper into the belief stuff and the consensus reality that is Planescape.
  22. There's some new information on the Starcraft II Terran campaign, here's the Kotaku hands-on and here's the Shacknews'. There's also a bunch of videos here, here, here and here. They seem to be doing a lot of interesting stuff with the campaign.
  23. I don't think that "many" people are against them. They are more of a way of handing out with friends and having fun than serious games. My earlier comment was more about the increasing number of plastic instruments that every game comes with. It's dying down a bit now, but still.
  24. I think that the potential planescape games should not have numbers but all be different stories with themes like torment, vengeance, redemption etc. and with totally different characters. Having Torment 2 is like a lame marketing sell-out.
