  1. *high five* Destructible terrain ftw! Ok. You seem to play every game ever released. How many of them do you actually pay for? Feel free to enclose a picture of your assumable huge game library. The only game I got in the last ~2 months was Wolfenstein and I'm looking forward to Red Faction: Guerrilla. And yes, you're going to have to take my word for it.
  2. Don't forget to add $50 to the cost for a year of XBL Gold account.
  3. That picture is from November 2007.
  4. People are weird. That is all.
  5. Try wikipedia? They have some pretty nice comparison charts. Also making a new thread is still a better idea than derailing a crazy one. There's even a thread about MC choosing which console to buy.
  6. You can run lots of older 3d stuff on a netbook with an atom processor and an intel graphics chip. For example AvP 2, Max Payne, NOLF2, Age of Mythology etc.
  7. Play more games then, even the critics hated it.
  8. I thought that you set up a hypothesis and then find supporting evidence.
  9. interestingly, i don't think there is any scientific reason this is not, or can not, be true. there is no supporting evidence for such a concept, however, and certainly it is an untestable hypothesis at the moment. perhaps in the future, eh? taks Ghosts being the result of a pink unicorn singing Elvis Presley's songs is also an untestable hypothesis. Shall we make a list?
  10. It's pretty long, I'm not very good with measuring gameplay in hours, but there are like 12 hour-long missions. If you really want to get all the hidden goodies it'll take a bit longer to search every corner. It certainly didn't feel short.
  11. I just finished the Wolfenstein single player. It was a really nice and fun game, also really well optimized as it actually run at 60 fps on my not so very new PC. The weapon upgrade system was a really nice touch and I really loved that you couldn't upgrade all the weapons, but had to make actual meaningful choices. Having to collect gold and intel in missions was also a nice addition, especially because they gave you something tangible for them(weapon upgrades). The story was fun enough to keep me interested. The combat felt satisfying and offered a challenge while never really frustrating me. Same goes for the boss fights, they were always entertaining and different without any trial and error stuff. I feel that they could have done more with the medallion and Thule dimension stuff(think Call of Cthulhu), but it didn't really bother me either. I really loved the end Wolfenstein/Unreal Tournament style boss fight.
  12. Don't strain yourself, it's probably too much fun for you anyway
  13. I'm pretty happy with my post count, actually. No need to inflate it here when I could have page-long discussions on the C&C forums.
  14. Or so you claim...
  15. *high five* Destructible terrain ftw!
  16. A valid point!
  17. And the console people probably do the same for keyboard/mouse. What's your point?
  18. I meant the kind where you go to a place with your rig and play in a "tournament". There are a few super hardcore people who do that. Just playing online is just playing online.
  19. Who the hell plays FPSs for tournaments anymore? I play for fun.
  20. That sounds like a hardware issue. Maybe the GPU overheating.
  21. How very enlightened of you. Because the enlightened believed in ghosts and aliens?
  22. Then you didn't said it wrong Enough with the elitism now.
  23. Saying that took you like 4 posts? What's wrong with you?
