It's called buying into the hype. Pathetic. You can't really think that those nations are all worse than their successors/predecessors, right? I mean, the fall of the USSR alone ****ed up everything in the east, and the only country which is actually better in the post-Soviet era is Romania. Why does everyone always feel the need to crap on Eastern Europe? It was pretty much under Soviet Unions direct military control, the Baltic states were actually a part of it. Estonia is doing pretty well thank you very much.

While the lawsuit is stupid, it's also a bit sad that the developers don't have enough creativity to make more original mechs.

The only time the PS3 version looks better is when it's a Sony exclusive, MG4, Uncharted, Killzone 2 etc. As it stands, the PS3 will probably get the short end of the stick for it's lifetime. It's the N64 of this generation, good console underused by third party developers. Sure, what I said goes only for multi-platform games. The people who actually know how to program for the Cell processor can make awesome looking games like MGS4 etc.

What games are we talking about here, I'm mostly talking about Company of Heroes. EDIT: If you can actually get 3 people together to play an RTS then great.

Oh well, I like the jump in/jump out nature of the FPSs, RTSs usually requite a lot of waiting, planning and people disconnecting when they are losing.

A good example would be The Flipper from The Longest Journey, everyone loved him. It's also up on in all it's potentially NSFW glory.

It is pretty much the norm. There was even a year when a popular sports franchise(don't remember which) ran at 60FPS on the 360 and 30FPS on the PS3. Since the PS3 has a somewhat smaller player base and usually sells less copies, the developers spend less time on the PS3 port on multi-platform games. On the best day they are about equal with the PS3 having slightly more AA or looking a bit sharper, but even though the PS3 has potentially more power, it usually gets the short end of the stick.

If you want hilariously bad swearing try Gears of War.

So there are actually people who play PC games but have never played an online/LAN FPS? Playing UT or Q3 back in the day was soo much fun.(and it still is)

Valve would LOVE to have every game ever on Steam, but there are lots of problems with compatibility, licenses being lost and publishers not really caring.

There is no way they are doing two completely different console ports. The PS3 port will probably be a jankier, lower FPS version of the 360 one.

That is something I'd pay money for! And you can AvP and AvP2 are out with AvP3 coming next year. The closest you're going to get is Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, which is super awesome BTW.
