  1. Yet you still avoid my question. A yes or no would suffice.
  2. As long as they haven't abandoned it. I can wait.
  3. I don't care whether you like the games or not. I do care if you can actually fathom someone playing a game you don't enjoy having just as much fun as you playing a game you do enjoy. It kind of determines whether you are an actual human being or a soulless automaton sent from the future to sing praises to the PC.
  4. I couldn't care less what you thought of them. Are you able to imagine a person playing CoD:MW on their 360 and having as much fun as you would playing CS or Quake 3?
  5. Peggle is basically Pachinko from The Price is Right where you drop a ball down pegs and see where it lands. It looks like this: EDIT: I don't feel bad because you're missing out, I feel bad for you because you are unable to see how someone else could enjoy something that you don't.
  6. I feel sad for you, I really do. Are you also unable to see how someone could have fun with Peggle, for example?
  7. So the fun they're having is not "true" fun, only the kind you have is the right kind. It's like I messed up the URL and accidentally dropped into the Quakeworld forums. What the hell is wrong with you? @Gorgon: The PS3 has full mouse/keyboard support, but I think very few games support it. It's up to the developers on the PS3. Microsoft has a strict no-mouse/keyboard policy in their games for whatever reason.
  8. The normal liches were challenging, Kangaxx was downright annoying. You'll have to pry my magic save/load buttons from my cold dead fingers.
  9. So all those people having fun with Cod4 are living in a carefully crafted delusion that would pop a moment they touched a PC FPS?
  10. Blazing Angels was pretty horrible.
  11. The Kangaxx imprisonment thing was a little over the top. I prefer enemies who play by the rules
  12. If I don't buy AP because the cover art is too blue, that would also be a legitimate reason for me, that doesn't make it any less silly. If you can't roleplay as anyone but yourself, sex, race and hair color included, I'd say you lack imagination. It's sad that it is enough to stop people from enjoying the game, but at the same time you can't expect the developers to spend more resources and possibly dilute the overall quality to please everyone. Voting with your wallet is always appreciated, but sometimes people have the craziest expectations.
  13. How's the Urban Chaos 1.13 doing? I really loved all the urban combat, but last I checked they weren't doing too well with the 1.13 version.
  14. The console shooters and PC shooters are in different categories, sure. Have you ever played a console shooter?
  15. Contradiction in terms. Or maybe it's more like being the worlds smartest horse. Pretty smart for a horse, but it fails when compared to human intelligence. You may want to cut back on the elitism a bit, it's already dripping on the floor. There are shooters on the console, some people actually enjoy them, CoD:MW is one of the best. If you can't deal with other people having fun, I feel sad for you.
  16. The developers started talking about the gambit-like system about two year ago. I mean, it has come up several times on the BioWare forums and a few articles I've read, but... Combat is boring. Mechanics are boring. I try to provide you guys with interesting stuff. I never imagined someone would want to hear about combat slots and AI scripts. I feel a bit guilty now. It was a very good article though. I knew a bunch of it in general, but the little details were nice. For a spiritual successor to BG2, the combat is extremely important. I didn't spend hours trying to get Firkraag with Lower Resistance+Greater Malision+Chromatic Orb because of the story. I did it because it was actually possible and fun to try new crazy ways to defeat way too difficult opponents.
  17. I thought it was NOLF2 It's a series.
  18. Can you imagine how ugly the female TNO would look, scars and all? I'm not really seeing the appeal here. Also, comparing NOLF and FO3 is sacrilege or the highest order.
  19. 1.13, I hope? If the going gets tough, abuse the quicksave.
  20. Nothing is objectively brilliant. Also you still haven't added CoD: MW, entrerix. It is THE multiplayer console shooter.
  21. Because it made WRPGs, especially of the sci-fi variety again accessible to the mainstream. Barring some crazy stuff the Mass Effect trilogy will just be remembered as Mass Effect.
  22. Stop ruining our fun I nominate Mass Effect and Portal, as I said before and add HL2+Episodes to that as well.
  23. So if I think my toothpick is brilliant, that makes it so? I am now in possession of the singular brilliant toothpick. For something to be considered good, you need someone to agree with you, otherwise everything anyone makes would be equally good.
  24. I meant free indie games. My point is that sometimes the criteria for success is dependent on the developer's goals.
