  1. Fair enough, I do think state sponsored killings from Mossad, CIA or the FSB are different than hiring a hitman who is independent. But you right, the end result is the same
  2. An overreaction and cowardly wanting to assassinate Bolton because he doesnt like the hardliners in Iran, do you know how many people dont like the current Iran regime and were happy Soleimani was killed ?
  3. https://www.woodandfire.co.za/ I went with friends to this restaurant on Monday night in Pretoria. It was one of the best steak houses I have ever been to, the starters and mains were amazing and the red wine was flowing. I had Ox tongue for my starter which is photo 3 and then I had a BBQ game for my main which is photo 2. What a dining experience
  4. The US needs to declare AI a terrorist organization and the people involved in the false and biased report arrested immediately, problem solved
  5. You make a good point about Iraq but the wars are very different. As you know there were external sectarian groups killing each other, Iraq Sunni vs Iraq Shia and foreign fighters involved. Not everyone was just trying to kill US and its allies like the UK Putins War is much simpler, its about Russia vs Ukraine and the war crimes committed are almost always committed by Russian soldiers. The Ukrainians arent going to rape and kill there own civilians because its not Iraq
  6. Gorthfuscious please tell me you not saying what I think you saying, if the hotties have been banned then the Oz government is WORSE than Russia Juice Media forever
  7. But many Russians dont trust there leaders and you can see this from the decline in voting numbers in Russia. Citizens give up on things like voting where a state starts sliding into autocracy and you cant influence any political change. Its always a good sign of lack of belief in leadership The US for example has always had about 45% of US citizens who never vote or arent registered. But if you look at the 2020 US elections more people voted than ever before so despite the left vs right culture wars rhetoric the people in the US that do vote did vote. So you see how voting turnout is a example of citizens who still believe you can see political change and do believe in there governments I know several Russians on Codex who dislike Putin and dont trust him at all but they live in Russia and they know there is nothing they can do to change the autocratic nature of the country. Putin definitely has his supporters in Russia and I would argue before the invasion of Ukraine it was probably 55-60% of the population but now it will be less. But end of the day we wont get accurate data from the country anyway so we only hear what Putin wants us to hear and what the state controlled media reports on
  8. Do you consider Oz an example of a totalitarian\autocratic state similar to Russia or China because of Murdoch media ?
  9. Nah, the FBI wouldnt have gone through with the raid if there wasnt something that can be used to prosecute Trump otherwise its a waste of time So it depends on if they found it, I think its something to do with the hundreds of classified documents Trump took from the WH after January 6 https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-took-classified-material-white-house-florida-national-archives-says-2022-02-18/
  10. Wow what a surprise, Zora defending AI biased and inaccurate assessment of who is really responsible for the killings of civilians and targeting of civilian buildings. Do you know the Russians arent going to invade Ukraine, its just a training exercise Victim blaming is never nice to see Zora, try not to do it
  11. Thats a good video and honest, the girls are cute. I love the Russian English accent They made me several me laugh several times with the " American conspiracy theory " and " owners going to end up in the Gulag " and " imagine having to cross out the name McDonalds on the sauce " Sad how many shops are empty, thats sanctions for you. In summary it doesnt look like much has changed with the new "Russian bootleg McDonalds " ...its still junk food that is eatable but its average like normal But good video about how normal Russians feel about the reality in Russia since Putins War started
  12. Greenpeace? Why do you dislike them, is it because they criticize all the dolphins and whales that you Scandinavians love killing and eating ..Elerond thats guilt you feeling and its normal. It means you human
  13. AI is sometimes inconsistent, they not as vociferous when Hamas fires rockets into Israel and anytime you target civilians that is a war crime. But at least they do acknowledge it when Hamas is involved in war crimes https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-32053999
  14. What do you personally define as a collapsed economy? And its well known and accepted by most that the global inflation experienced by all countries is extremely concerning. Thats not something unique to the US
  15. I played BT1 as part of the BT Trilogy about 18 months ago, I have yet to play 2&3 I enjoyed BT1, its definitely a CRPG and should be judged on that fairly. The combat is repetitive most of the time but I enjoyed the combat mechanics. And I was also grateful for the Automap, I have no appetite for making my own maps I am planning on tackling BG2 sometime in the future
  16. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/08/04/economy/monthly-jobs-report-preview-july/index.html The US has added 530k jobs in July, double what analysts were predicting. It really doesnt look like the Western sanctions on Russia is going to destroy the US economy
  17. I have some bad news, I am in JHB till the 11/12 August for work so I am not gaming till I get back to CPT. Which means my "Saga of the Sword Coast " chronicles will be paused till then On Thursday and my last BG1 session I did complete the Cloakwood Mines and found some very useful items, the narrative is also becoming clearer. The nefarious forces behind the scenes will soon be revealed I am now on my way to BG and I have loads of money so it should be eventful and rewarding. I also found some underground tunnels inhabited by Ankhegs and once I killed them I am getting some Ankheg armor made in Beregost for my 2 x fighters which are Khalid and Kivan...this armor should be very useful in future battles
  18. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/prey_2022 Prey has received mostly favorable reviews and Im glad. I always thought it was going to be excellent based on the trailer and the unique setting I also rejected the whole " its bad because its woke " card because we shouldnt assume every movie nowadays with a female character is an example of wokeness You can only comment on something like a movie objectively when you have watched it. I plan to watch it later this week
  19. Yes I do agree that Taiwan does contribute importantly towards parts of the global economy like semiconductors
  20. And as usual these wont be the countries that can make the biggest and most significant difference to war or trade war with China Only the US can realistically challenge and change Chinas direction in war and regional hegemony . But its allies like Oz, SK and Japan will support the US But Gorthfuscious remember we wont to avoid wars\trade wars that destabilize the global economy unless absolutely necessary like an invasion of Oz Can you imagine how all our economies would suffer in a real war between China and the US with most of the West, like the EU, supporting the US? If you think the global inflation after the lockdowns was bad this would make that look like Mickey Mouse
  21. I know China wants to invade\re-unify Taiwan , I was being sarcastic Thats why this Chinese outrage from Pelosi's visit and it " leading to a Chinese invasion " from some is just theater because China has been saying this for decades It will happen in the next 20 years but I dont think its worth the US\West going to war over it or a massive economic trade war. I dont think its worth it, Ukraine is different because its about the destabilization of the EU and an indirect attack on Western ideology Taiwan is not like that
  22. You think there are Nazi and Nuke in Taiwan as well? It wouldnt surprise me, they tend to get around What about NATO, I heard Taiwan wants to join. China was never ever going to invade Taiwan but now because of Pelosi's visit they must invade. What other choice do they have, its provoked 101
  23. Yes we did discuss Sinema but the reality is I am much more supportive of Manchin, I have listened to him on numerous occasions and he always comes across as reasonable and sincere about why he votes the way he does and why he supports or opposes certain bills To summarize his views, he doesnt get involved in culture wars or populist rhetoric. He respects Biden but also considers most of the Republicans his political friends, different to real friends, and not enemies in the sense he acknowledges the future of the US is about bipartisan agreements and both the left and right compromising on certain policies Here is a link that is an audio of the latest interview Jake Trapper on CNN had with Manchin, just listen to 7 minutes from minute 2 to understand why I like Manchin https://edition.cnn.com/audio/podcasts/state-of-the-union-with-jake-tapper/episodes/64e89250-f490-44de-88b2-aee3010ca9ee
  24. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/08/02/politics/senate-vote-burn-pits/index.html Some good news and an example of Congress working together to get meaningful legalization done , the long awaited veterans burn bill has been passed by the Senate Its very important that governments look after there veterans and this bill is an example of that
