  1. Thanks for the tips
  2. Machine for Pigs, the new one
  3. Okay I bought Metro and Amnesia was only $10 so I got that as well, that's it for me. No more Steam games on this sale
  4. I'm only reading this now and I've missed that SR4 special They usually run many of the sales more than once so it might come up again before it's all said and done. If not, there's a good chance it will be on sale during the X-Mas Sale, which will likely be in a couple of weeks. I contemplated getting Metro: Last Light, but then decided against pulling the trigger on it. While my lappy will surely be able to run it, it won't be able to come anywhere near max, or even high settings, plus my backlog is already quite long. Might as well wait until next year when I build a new desktop rig so that I can play it on maximum eye candy. I'll likely get it cheaper then anyway. I'm about to buy Metro Last Light, its $13. But Steam is very slow at the moment for me and I can't logon
  5. After all the positive discussion on this thread I decided to watch Almost Human, I didn't think I would enjoy it that much as Sci-Fi isn't a genre that I'm crazy about but holy smoke its brilliant. I am really enjoying it
  6. I'm only reading this now and I've missed that SR4 special
  7. You so funny
  8. They can't. They don't have such possibility ( in other case US destroy and conquer Russia long ago ). US military forces not for war against technically advanced enemy (for this task they must have quite different weaponry), but against low-tech military forces of Third World. But Oby the Russian army couldn't even defeat the Chechen's and they had years to do this? How do you possibly think Russia could win against a country that has been at war for the last 13 years and has the most skilled, experienced and battled hardened military force in the world
  9. That Russian saying would only be applicable in a game that wasn't funded through KS. Fans expect regular updates and most of the work is work in progress. I fail to see how any development company can provide regular updates around any KS and those updates wouldn't appear unfinished or lacking in some respects Its like going to some famous celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver or Bobby Flay, while he is cooking a meal and tasting the meal and then complaining about how the meal tastes? Duh...its not finished yet. This may seem like I'm defending Obsidian but I'm not, its logical and obvious the product is not in final stages
  10. Every time alanshu posts here, DA3 has another bug. Oh you guys ....
  11. Its important and necessary that the USA has the most powerful and well trained military in the world so they can destroy and conquer Russia if necessary. You should be thankful for this Oby, imagine how great it will be for you living in a Western country where peoples civil rights are respected
  12. Sorry but if you are right that kind of thinking and behaviour is disingenuous and is unacceptable for a system like KS. It should be unequivocally condemned If a person bothers to understand how the structure of KS works they would know that it is this kind of action that can effectively destroy the hopes of thousands of fans and lead to huge disappointment for the developers or creators of the particular KS. This is not a game for some people but there livelihood and aspirations. Also I'm not talking about changing a relatively small pledge like $100 but a person who commits $10 k knows if they can afford and is serious about it. You can't change a pledge of that much unless you weren't serious about it in the first place
  13. Mankind stared in awe and enthrallment as once again profound and tenebrous wisdom was uttered by the omnipotent GORTHFUCIUS. He then returned to his eternal slumber....until the next great cataclysm required his sagacious insight
  14. Yesterday I ended up buying Skyrim Legendary Edition, Dark Souls, BG:EE and Far Cry 2 (thx Raithe ). It all came to about $ 40. In South Africa Skyrim alone have cost $45 so I ended getting excellent deals
  15. I've been following this story. Don't be worried about this development, it may seem like a belligerent move by the Chinese but they aren't going to go to war over some islands which there newly declared zone puts in disputed territory. But it does highlight once again the bizarre thinking and motives of the Chinese. Why declare this air zone in the first place, what's the point and purpose
  16. Yeah I'm nosy So what are our American members doing for the long weekend and how are you celebrating? Oh and Happy Thanksgiving
  17. $7.99 here. Dark Souls is a whopping 80% off. That's it !!! I've been waiting for Dark Souls to be on special, I'm buying it and BG:EE now
  18. I was banned from Facebook years ago and I've never bothered to join again. My company has asked not us to join Facebook anyway due to embarrassing incidents in the past from people making stupid comments. You'll see its no real loss, the only really convenient thing about Facebook is the exchanging of photos with overseas friends and family
  19. It wouldn't be a proper Twitcher game without ample sexy time. But Keyrock lets be honest for a second. Are you going to participate in the optional sex scenes that will be available in W3? Now before you answer think "high-resolution" and " next-gen graphics "
  20. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-11-19-the-witcher-3-what-is-a-next-gen-rpg Guys here is a good read on this much anticipated game, as expected there will be the much appreciated adult themes around sex and nudity
  21. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jordanshapiro/2013/11/27/4-reasons-video-games-are-good-for-your-health-according-to-american-psychological-association/ Guys good news, gaming really has health benefits. I knew it all along of course
  22. Happy B-day A b-day is a celebration of life, what are you planning on doing? I just did some sculpting and that's about it. Maybe tomorrow I will celebrate life by getting drunk until the brink of death, heaven knows it will make Turkey day easier. I find that a birthday celebration and drinking alcohol are synonymous with each so that makes perfect sense
  23. Being poor isn't an insult but used in a certain context the word can be insulting. And how you used it wasn't complimentary.
  24. Thanks for this tip, I have just bought Skyrim Legendary Edition for $20 dollars, that's a good price for this game It's the steepest discount I have ever seen for the game, anywhere. That's what I thought and I've been following this one so I think I got a good deal
