I agree that the concept of enemies basing there initial combat strategy on what you did in the past could be explained through some sort of hive mind but that's one of the only times it would be realistic. How many examples of this type of enemy hierarchy would you expect to see in the game? Don't get me wrong it does sound fun but for me its unrealistic and if Obsidian just enforced this type of AI across the board it would also lead to people being able to abuse a system that is suppose to add a level of challenge

Which would be a way cool strategy. Also something entirely believable -- keeping your best stuff in reserve and not letting the enemy find out about it makes total sense. Don't mean to nitpick but how would that be realistic? Every enemy you meet is its own sentient being, they have there own though processes and goals. So if you are making a point this would be realistic I am confused how the giant troll you meet in one place knows that you used magic missile against a Ogre in the forest?

I can see a lot of exploiting of the A.I. with this. Play as dumb adventurers, using underpowered spells and then when you encounter an enemy that is familiar with your combat abilities, pull out the big spells. Interesting point and you are right, this does seem to allow some sort of exploitation

You're telling me that the wife of the man they call "the leader of the Free World" has no better recourse than to launch a Twitter campaign. Its not cynical to doubt the veracity of their sentiment when a lot the decision they made resulted in the deaths of innocents. So I find it difficult to see it as anything more than a calculated political move, specially when all they've done is the bare minimum, which is to acknowledge the problem. What happened to the war on terrorism? Or are Boko Haram just "freedom fighters"? No Boko Haram are considered hard core Islamic fundamentalists. There are several groups like this is Africa, another one is Al-Shebaab in Somalia who are committing terrorist attacks in Kenya But no Western country will just send troops into any African country unless they are invited or the UN backs a security mission, those days are long gone because of the fallout if something goes wrong, like Iraq. Western countries now work in partnership with African countries or they don't get involved at all. This is the correct and reasonable course of military action. So the Americans are doing what they can do in Nigeria and its a lot more than most other countries have done. Lets give them some credit and be supportive

This looks good on the government to citizens, yay they are saving innocent girls, etc. I suppose one could argue the US can now show it's might as a force for good or whatever based on this, but I'm pretty sure no one is naive enough to buy that these days. Seems like the better tactic for Boko haram would have been to kill them all, definitely no one would care, no twitter campaign, etc. Okay, so I see this campaign totally differently. For me its about basic empathy and humanity. This is something that all governments should be raising and asking questions like " how can we assist Nigeria"?. For me to believe that Western countries want to do something to help purely because its the right thing to do is not naïve at all but what is to be expected But the reality is many countries governments don't seem that concerned. The worst indictments around this apathy is for African countries, end of the day this is an African problem that the majority of African countries are not prepared to commit resources to. Its sad and highlights why the African continent hasn't achieved its full potential

On some of the late night South African radio talk shows some people are still making points like " the USA is only getting involved in Nigeria because of the Oil" Its insulting and demonstrates a lack of understanding around why the West has been asked to assist with the Boko Haram

Listening to your adventures reminds me how brilliantly the game design was in Gothic 3. You have this choice where you basically can work for both sides until a certain point in the game gets reached and you start freeing too many towns from the opposing sides, only then are you the enemy of orcs or humans. But then you have all the adventures in the mountains and still the desert. Plus you have the fun of finding the Fire Chalices which really motivates you to fastidiously explore the land.

Calmly and rationally reply to it, point out that the woman you love, the mother of your children, and the person you plan on growing old with.. basically gets insulted and verbally abused by that side of the family, and as such you see no point in spending time in such a toxic environment unless they can deal with their attitudes. Don't be confrontational about it, just extremely cool and to the point. Apparently you couldn't do same sex marriages in the game, so the LGBT Nazi Mafia got the outrage machine going. Nintendo was all, look, it's just a game, we weren't even thinking about it, we weren't trying to make a social statement. but by that time the LGBT Nazi Mafia was already throwing rocks at Nintendo and setting their buildings on fire, so Nintendo had Mario and Link french kiss or have butsechs or something. I guess that clears that up (hopefully). Squeakymeister the reality around this safe zone is it is a place where only lady gamers can be active. So yes in that respect its "unequal". But I think most people understand this is due to the circumstances and have no issue with that
