Im having a similar debate on Codex and someone correctly pointed out that Chinese Room is basically a new company with none of the previous people working for it that worked on previous adventure games But that doesnt mean it cant succeed if you think of Owlcat but it still concerns me -

Im still skeptical about if they can create a game as prestigious, iconic and grand as Bloodlines 2 I enjoyed Amnesia and Penumbra but they tiny games compared to this project -
That definitely not bugs, thats intentional coding by design so modders can address it later. Its a Bethesda game after all

That looks really good and Im hoping they finish this game, Im excited because I was starting to think this game would be vaporware And one positive already it looks like there are hot women in it which means woke influence isnt dictating the artistic and aesthetic direction of the game . That will be a nice change -
I hear you but I think there are a couple of considerations, firstly I disagree that the interviews that Daniil Orain does arent relevant to the overall views of Russians in general and how things are in Russia In fact I would argue they are one of the most effective and revealing ways to understand the psyche of normal Russians and there views on the state and the war, he interviews literally hundreds of normal citizens in different parts of the country and asks them questions on a range of topics. And he also doesn't just focus on big cities like Moscow which is relatively removed from the consequence of the war I consider the responses to be often more insightful than anything we get from most outsider sources of media or opinion pieces and Im not dismissing all outsider sources that often we post that are relevant and accurate. Im saying the lived experiences and views of Russians still in Russia are relevant But I do agree what the Russian education system is trying to do is egregious and very worrying for the future of Russia and how they will view and understand the war. But many Russians dont trust the state anyway, for example they only achieved a 55% vaccination rate which is one of the lowest in Europe And this was despite the fact the Russian state was saying " take the jab, Sputnik good ". The Russians arent like the Chinese who generally dont question anything that the CCP tells them So in summary I dont think creating revisionist history from grades 10-12 is fundamentally going to change the cynicism or lack of trust many Russians feel about the direction the country is going. That doesn't mean anti-war laws wont be enforced and Russian citizens will publicly criticize the war and Putin himself Thats a given but thats an outcome of the draconian laws around the autocracy that Putin has created. But that doesnt mean thats what all Russians believe. There is a difference

Not really, in Russia there is not restricted Internet access as far as I know. And if you watch any of the videos from the likes of Daniil Oriian you will see lots of Russians he interviews who comment on the numerous questions and they respond generally in 3 ways based on the fact "anti-war " sentiment can mean jail time they support the state and everything the Russian propaganda says they dont want to comment but you can see they would be critical of Putin and many of the developments like the draft and the reason for the state of the Russian economy they openly critical of the war and the reason for the failures and consequences of the war And the last 2 respondents often talk about how people must " stop only watching Russia media " and " reference international news sources" The point being if a person in Russia wants to know the truth about the invasion and the state of the war they can still use the Internet and this is confirmed by Russians on Codex. Its not like China or NK, yet, where they have effective Internet control and do control the reality of available information

I was watching an interesting interview on CNN with Christina Amanpour, she is in Kiev at the moment, and one of Zelensky's former military advisors, Andriy Zagorodnyuk, and she asked him a whole lot of standard questions and the reality of drones came into the debate And he was saying the usage of drones is going to change warfare irrevocably or at least add another new permanent element and armies have to be agile and have to " modernize " there strategies in this type of war. He used several examples of there effectiveness and made a comparison how a single drone can destroy a tank worth millions or damage a ship So drones are definitely a tool of future warfare at least for those countries that have the resources to use them

Retrenchments are never nice to see but sometimes they are absolutely necessary to ensure a company can survive and be profitable I just hope Bioware can create new games, thats the most important thing for me -
Im leaving for a work trip on Wednesday for a week so I wont start Fallout 1 until I get back but I decided to kickoff the KA1 Druids DLC and its really good Its the same mechanics as KA1 but with additional features, I set my victory goals as conquering all provinces and having to include 10 knights Im still getting use to no Magic Shield from KA2 and I keep waiting for my initial spells to get blocked But I definitely prefer KA1 design and mechanics, its harder but more rewarding

Good question, I dont think I am going to play the KA1 DLC because I have completed both main games now and I am happy with the amount of time I spent playing an RTS. I have that gaming rule where I select different types of genres every 2-3 games so I dont become bored And Im seriously considering Fallout 1, I have never played it. And that brings me to the next part of my post. I was doing some research around recommended mods for FO1 and I came across this link which shocked me @Lexx this is going to upset you but someone out there is copying your name and even your avatar picture. Its outrageous and you should sue or at the very least protest !!! https://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-et-tu-release-v1-8.218045/

I completed King Arthur Wargame 2 after 50 hours, I was surprised how much shorter the overall narrative was compared to KA1. I mentioned previously in KA2 they changed certain mechanics and I dont think some of them made the game better but things like artifact crafting is fun and useful and then you can train more units like monsters which adds variety to overall battles and your strategies KA2 gets a 60/100 on the " BruceVC game rating system" and in summary its not as good as KA1 but its still worth playing if you enjoy RTS and RPG hybrids
