The REAL state of the USA : Fact vs Fiction
But guys did you read that link I posted, the strength of the US economy is often overlooked by many Americans on this forum I get real economic data from the financial sector due to my work and this positive news from the USA often is ignored. I think its because of the focus on perceived political and ideological differences around your political parties ...people on both sides are gaining real supporting by saying things like " we need to change the system....its broken " (I'm just simplifying the rhetoric ) @ Gfted1 Funny enough I do support drones in certain military examples, why must American soldiers die in hell holes like Yemen or Pakistan. No send in drones, these extremist groups don't wage conventional war but they think crossing borders will protect them The drones are a perfectly understandable military tactic

Malc I need to ask you that same question because you are honest and observant about certain forum behavioral trends Have you noticed I'm less condescending than when I was first was active on these forums , now before you say " no you same " like last time please take your time and think about how I use to be ?

The REAL state of the USA : Fact vs Fiction
Okay and just to be clear are you saying you feel that Russia and China have become globally more influential than the USA? Is this because of Syria for example ?

The REAL state of the USA : Fact vs Fiction
Yes I hear that view from many people I dispute that but I don't feel like a debate about that now so I just want to ask you one thing , what in your opinion would be one example of how the USA is internationally weaker?

Here's the correct way to do it: She is smoking hot ....Vampire cult sign me up I'd give it all up in my last heartbeat to go down on 1996 Salma, and never regret. Easily one of the hottest women, in one of the hottest scenes in 100+ years of cinema. #VampSalma4eva! See! We can agree on at least one thing BruceVC. Vals I sure we agree on many things but the reality is our discussions here just happen to be dichotomous....but its a forum and that is normal, For me its never personal, its just a debate about topics like politics Going back to the Vampiresses debate I have a thing for hot Vampiresses..its actually quite common to be find them alluring and seductive https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcEe1rS37BI

The REAL state of the USA : Fact vs Fiction
Guys I have been grappling with the reality that many of our American members dont like Obama and some people are opposed to Hilary becoming president for exactly the reason she plans to continue the Obama legacy amongst other things I firmly believe in the Obama legacy because I see how the USA has changed over the last 8 years and despite criticism it is now weak I believe the USA is stronger for a variety of reasons But when I have asked American forum members " why don't you like Obama" there are always a number of reasons that some I just dont understand why they are an issue,,but thats fine I dont need to agree Anyway I want to start debunking several negative or spurious views some people may have of the USA Please post any opinions you have of the USA., positive or negative So here is an accurate and significant read about the real strength of the USA economy....yet Trump thinks the USA is weak economically and of course left wing hyperbole by Sanders also feels the need to criticize http://www.newsmax.com/FareedZakaria/Economy-Sanders/2016/03/11/id/718598/

I also had Garfield stuffed animals....I use to have lots of teddy bears when I was young Because my mom raised us I actually ended feeling obliged keeping the bears, which were on my bed, much longer than I should have. Every time I said to my mom I wanted to maybe move them off my bed she would say something like " you dont want to grow up too quickly " so I ended up having numerous teddy bears on my bed till I was 12-13

If I recall correctly, wasn't Wade Boggs a participant? Bruce, my impression of you is that you're really big on labels and pigeonholing people. More than anyone else on these boards anyway. Well that seems to be the impression I create, despite the fact I really didnt want to offend GD What are other examples of me labeling people off the top of your head?

Yes but its not as simple as just saying " hey guys lets just throw all illegal immigrants out the USA "....I assume you dont need me to raise the obvious social and political challengers that this type of view faces ? And I am talking about Latinos here...I'm not sure who else would consist of millions of illegals ?

I never thought of you as an avid reader ....living out in the wilderness, having no creature comforts like electricity and paying homage to primordial earth spirits Do people generalize about people like you and assume you are what I suppose is a redneck, do they assume you are not informed of current events for example? It must be fun taking them apart with your impressive knowledge of many things I am always either reading a book (or two) or looking for my next one. I have well over 1000 on my shelves here and about 150 or so on my Kindle. All kinds. From Wheel of Time to War to Peace and de Tocqueville's Democracy in America to the one I just mentioned in the Election thread. I even have a few rare collectibles in the mix. I'm an educated man Bruce. I drive a pick up truck, and I live in a house way out in the sticks. I'm adept at firearms and farming that's true but I can also speak in complete sentences most of the time. I'd hope I make the correct impression on people I meet. Yes, did I not say you are very well informed. I hope I didn't offend you ?

Well thats the one thing I think I do understand, you see how criminal activity in the Latino community is almost ignored and bleeds through to impact other Americans right ? My point is people come here illegally, which leads to a ton of other crimes. For some reason you think we should just let them, so I don't understand why you think democratically passed laws don't need to be enforced. "Latino" has nothing to do with it, there are illegal aliens from all over the world. Well let me ask you a more relevant question, what other Western country has engaged in serious endeavors to force immigrants to leave ...what Western country has tried to get millions of immigrants to leave? And lets not bring Australia into this with there appalling policy of sending immigrants to that jungle hell hole island

Yes I agree but once again Mexico is another example of fairly good fiscal policy but they have several real economic challangers that have negatively impacted there potential. They avoided privatization, had issues with tax collection and they do have a real wealth equality gap. There are many people who are not part of any economic transformation...they feel marginalized and would be prime candidates for immigration to the USA Its a little frustrating that the USA becomes the prime immigration destination...because the USA has been doing things right in there economy and you have to question the slowness in implementing certain changes in Mexico but there economy is doing better and its a good US trade partner right ?

I agree with every word. I actually personally knew Spencer. WOD I hope you dont get offended by what I'm going to say but I feel you and I can be honest with each other and you have never offended me when we disagree That article is a well written piece of breitbart propaganda, its intended audience will vary but they want to target people like you. And thats not an insult, who are you in this particular narrative? You not a racist, you dont hate latinos but you are genuinely concerned about the influx of immigrants, the appearance of no effective border controls, the inconsistent way immigration laws are not being enforced and the perceived rise of crime that many Latinos seem to be involved in....you could see this as some type of surreptitious way that the identity of the USA is being undermined? But the reality is much simpler, the USA isn't facing a unique problem here. Throughout the world immigration is a fact and real point of exasperation in many countries. The dynamic is normally a wealthy country will always draw people from neighboring countries where there are less economic opportunities, it about economic upliftment. Why don't you have thousands of Canadians illegally crossing the border to live in the USA...yes its obvious. There economy is stable and provides for its citizens so there is no need to leave And yes certain crimes will increase but this doesnt reflect all the Latinos ....but its real, lets not deny it But you cant stop it by building a wall, its a global social development. The USA will always have people wanting to get into it looking for better prospects. My advice is if Mexico's economy was strong and inclusive enough people wouldnt want to leave

What insight would you agree with Volo on Bartie? If its " violence at rallys is unacceptable " that is what everyone has said, I would find it strange if anyone said " I think violence at rallys is a good thing for the overall health of the US political machinery " Our debate is more about I'm saying Trump is a major contributor to this degree of violence as he created effectively new landscapes at rallys with his comments Slavoj Zizek would probably say that, yes. He is a strange guy, sometimes he makes interesting points but generally I dont like his pseudo-intellectual assessments of social events ...like how PC\SJ is wrong. Also why dont any of his friends be honest and just say " you dont need to sniff and touch your nose the whole video " ..I know it sounds childish but I nearly couldnt watch the video his sniffing was so off putting But he is funny like the story about the son going to visit the sick gran
