US Elections 2016
That's a fair point. I don't think anyone here would argue the Afghanistan intervention was needed. But every one since was a bad idea. Congress could have stopped every one of them it's worth mentioning. You all know where I stand on US foreign policy and of of these 5 candidates the only two who favor a more reserved, less interventionist attitude are two who probably won't win. From a FP perspective do you think there will be a bit of difference in the actions of a Clinton, Cruz, or Kasich State Dept? I don't think there will be. So again, what does it matter? It's not just invasions and the like, there's also trade agreements and there there is some differences between candidates. Probably theoretical difference as I'd suspect when it came down to it all of Clinton, Cruz, Trump and Kasich would sign up to the TPPA/ TTIP whatever they say now but at least theoretically Clinton/ Trump and Sanders oppose TPPA with only Kasich outright supporting it. The trade deals and the support, or lack it, is a good indicator on where their priorities might be. In other news, something very, very interesting might happen within 72 hours. http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-03-31/dc-madams-attorney-says-election-bombshell-already-online Probably too good to be true though. Well I'll be very surprised if Cruz has had affairs, I dont particularly like him but to cheat on his wife....I find it hard to believe?

US Elections 2016
I suppose you right, a Trump nomination does help Hilary But I am also concerned with the overall low level of general political decorum that has been almost forced and embellished on the Republican party through Trumps antics...its not that positive Not like there hasn't been precedence. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caning_of_Charles_Sumner Also this: Interesting....but going back over 150 years may not convince many people that this type of behavior is normal but yes there is precedence

Gender equality
Did you read the explanation? They weren't entirely happy with the image and he says " We actually already have an alternate pose that we love and we feel speaks more to the character of Tracer. We weren’t entirely happy with the original pose, it was always one that we wrestled with creatively " This is a none issue...it amazes why you aren't supporting this decision and being logical

FBI finds backdoor to Apple phones
I still think English must be a difficult language to learn with the huge and varied vocabulary ? But also in this case saying Islamic Extremism is an existential threat to Western countries is subjective, so you wont often hear it

US Elections 2016
No Trump has demonstrated indirectly he has very little respect for women, you may think his comments are cool and refreshing but I dont I think its appalling and offensive...but I am not outraged as I am use to Trump saying similar things. I am just annoyed Also can you find some examples of other Republican candidates that have said similar things....since this is normal for you there must be lots of examples?

FBI finds backdoor to Apple phones
Those were in fact the " bad old days ", countries and there citizens were less safe and information gathering was less effective Yes, we are now living in good times due to the advancements of how governments can protect citizens from existential threats

US Elections 2016
http://thecarousel.com/news/donald-trump-even-offends-pro-lifers-with-abortion-remarks/ Trump offends women....again This time by saying " women who have abortions should be punished ", later he clarified it by saying " only the people who perform the abortions should punished " ...its a bit late to clarify these types of comments. The damage is done. As I have predicted several times Trump will pay for this type of invective in the Presidential elections, the minorities will make him pay at the voting stations Clinton said the comments were " horrific and telling”

As usual you raise some good points, we do want to spread Western values but I recognize the political reality that some people live. We can't implement Western values straight away... unfortunately we know this doesn't work. So to avoid what you talking about why do we assume that this Apple device hack that was used will ever be seen on the Internet? Seriously lets be honest, there are software viruses and code hacks created by cyber-espionage government divisions that people dont know about, there such things as data that is secretive? Lets say the Israelis created it...the source code will be very well protected as the Israelis know how to make things secure So I can argue there is no real risk with this hack getting into some dictators hands This is actually a very good point...and extremely relevant, I missed it completely We already have far too much of our personal data on PC...and we know with programs like Prism the NSA really could hack your PC. So does accessing a device really make that much more of a difference?- You only have 24 hours left to live...
You funny- FBI finds backdoor to Apple phones
I would say that they come from so called "good place". They just want to have access to devices in ways that let them to get information from them that they need to solve crimes in fast and easy way, they don't necessary think what risks come with things they want and what they mean globally. FBI has asked backdoors, skeleton keys, etc. things for same reasons in past. Fair enough, I get your point about the potential abuse that may happen in the future ....I still think you have to weigh up the reality that encrypted devices are used to plan acts of terrorism and do you believe your government has a right to access those devices implicated in a terrorist attack? For the answer is an emphatic and unquestionable " yes..as your government needs to protect its citizens and this is clearly an example of information gathering which is very important to state security when dealing like many global threats...like Islamic Extremism "
