Oby you cant possibly believe the US is behind the current crisis in Brazil ? I remember I used to chide people here who in one post would talk about how stupid George W Bush was and in the next accuse him of masterminding 9-11 just so he could invade Iraq. That would require a criminal mastermind even greater than Emperor Palpatine. And this is the guy they think is stupid?? Also with all the anti-Bush sentiment that increased as the years went on you would assume by now one of the many detractors of Bush would have found evidence and presented it to the world ...but no somehow people think a conspiracy involving thousands of people could somehow be contained

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-36246081 Guys what would happen to a US judge in this case?

Do you mean like another Civil War? Under the correct circumstances... yes. I don't think it will or should happen. But it would be foolish to dismiss the possibility. Did you really watch what happened there Bruce? Hillary's people disqualified a majority of Sanders delegates and refused to say why. Then despite a vote in favor of a recount closed the convention and walked away but not before asking the sheriff deputies to put everyone out. But who fight in this war? And surly because of the resources any internal battle against the Federal government would be suicidal?

Sure, no problem

I'm asking him a relevant question because I thought you wanted to know more about what defines a SJW....and this could be several of us Sorry I dont see how this hijacking the thread?
-
And who would you say is a SJW in your opinion on these forums?
-
This is going to be one of the most entertaining threads I have ever seen....well played Hurlshot

Not only do you understand it, you see justification in it by your own words. That's okay Bruce, we all know you admire Australia's refugee policy. You even said you understand why we are admired. Ah yes. Of course Australia is to blame for someone setting themselves on fire. Even the UNHCR staff just watched. tsk tsk UN. You never did debating at school did you Hiro?
-
What I find funny is you disparaging Australia on its refugee policy in this thread but in the past, you said there was some justification for it. Yes, I understand the policy...but that doesnt mean everything about it I agree with ..people have been setting themselves on fire...you need to least make those jungle hell holes more hospitable http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-27/refugee-sets-himself-on-fire-in-nauru-protest/7363530

Some would settle for being allowed to take a bathroom break. Golden age, no doubt. But for whom? Yes the austerity is still necessary....its not a big deal, I know you will come through it stronger

Oh yes he does. And I was correct with his dismissive, no massive problems in Sweden post. Just some minor problems that's all. Nothing to see here folks. Trust me he is one of the very people on this forum who can have a debate with making it personal, he always posts links and he often explains points when random people ask questions He is very sincere and candid ...not a troll at all
-
Here is Bruce the racist in all his glory. Sorry...whats the correct way to refer to them?
-
No. If anyone's trolling, it's you. Your dismissive, oh there's no massive problems in Sweden. It's just some problems, nothing at all. I ask a question and I believe either 1) you know there's a lot (and I would say massive) problems in Sweden but don't want to acknowledge them in public, or 2) you have your head buried in the sand. Yeah go away Elerond. You have nothing of worth to say. Hiro thats not a very nice thing to say...Elerond never ever Trolls...you are one who refused to justify his initial view
-
I know its complicated Hiro, refugees arriving on boats and expecting citizenship? But lets be honest even the Abo's arent integrated properly ...or they not very happy in your society? Or is this wrong?
-
As I said to Bruce. Just some problems about a couple of things. Nothing really. I would argue they have been more successful at overall integration of foreigners than Oz? You guys dont excel at this
-
I've proven you wrong on many occasions. Let me ask you this question. Would you say the problems in Sweden are small like Elerond suggests and not massive at all? Yes they not massive, they just about social structures and some changes to incorporate the refugees I admire the Swedes
-
Blow that Strawman Bruce. Keep Blowing... Just prove me wrong....what is the big news you read about Sweden? Surly you must know what you read?
-
I doubt Hiro will post anything meaningful...this seems more like one of those " oh Sweden you bad country for trying to really embrace the immigrants ". posts ...there are many people who feel Sweden has gone to far, I support Sweden and I hope the integration goes well as time goes on
-
Depends what you define by massive problems....what are you referring to?
-
It's not semantics at all. You set a criteria that included extreme poverty. By your own link, 1.2 Billion live in extreme poverty as of 2010. You have also said: "more people live outside of extreme poverty than ever before" And yet, while one could argue that people do live inside of extreme poverty, pushing the dollar/wage up could in fact be hiding the real figure of poverty and extreme poverty. Interesting to note a dollar/wage value has been set as the line between poverty and extreme poverty. And there are criticisms of this by your own link. Also, by your own link and the trajectory of zero extreme poverty, wouldn't we be heading to a golden age around 2030-2035 by your own metrics? Why is your definition of the golden age a world where no poverty exists?
-
But she had her doubts and clearly expressed them? Bad decision there IMO
-
It makes perfect sense. Let me ask you this. If you are making true statements, then what is the line between poverty and extreme poverty. Does it make a difference when we debate semantics around terms of poverty? Why dont you just acknowledge its a global problem but more people than ever before are getting out of extreme poverty https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extreme_poverty
-
No, you would just say it behind the comfort of the internet. It makes no sense what you saying.....seriously, think about your criticism Are you suggesting we shouldn't make any true statements about the reality of the world on a medium like a forum?
