  1. GD, that question you asked me sometimes is framed a different way because some folks think I'm biased on certain topics but its normally from people who dont really respect the principle of debate so I wouldnt really be too concerned about responding But with you its different as I do appreciate your efforts you put into our debates ....I have learnt a lot from you. For example I have changed my view on gun control primarily on the way you made your point But of course on topics like this we differ but thats fine and normal So if it was Trump I would be convinced he had something to hide because I dont think much of his integrity But I wouldn't assume the FBI was incompetent and if they decided to not charge him I would assume it was because of lack of evidence. Thats the difference, I trust the FBI to do there job and if there was real evidence against her they would have charged her I dont see the system as rigged
  2. Has anyone ever told you you have this wonderful habit of stating absurdly bold claims as fact and then not bothering to reinforce that idea with any evidence whatsoever? I mean you don't even live in the USA, the media is *insanely* biased in favor of Clinton, and yet you consider yourself in a good enough position to deduce that most of her critics surrounding this email scandal are "mostly people that don't like her." You feeling guilty LK? Yes I would be also if I was you. After all you have misread and been wrong about Hilary from day one, you were one of those that made absurd and belligerent comments like " Hilary will NEVER be president, its not possible. Anyone who thinks she may actually be president is utterly uninformed " Try to see it this way "The Clinton administration is inexorably coming like a slow-moving locomotive "
  3. I always knew she wouldnt be charged There was no substantial evidence against her to begin with , it was mostly just allegations from people who dont like her
  4. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/hillary-clinton-voluntary-interview-fbi-emails-campaign/story?id=40301595 It appears at last the email scandal is coming to an end
  5. Guys I am still on my first play through and I have just got through the battle at Kaer Morhen and I'm level 30 I want to buy both expansions but how this impact my current game? Will it just open up other potential quest options that are optional, so for example could I complete the 2 expansions and then return to the main quest or will this make me too powerful?
  6. You white people in America...life is far too easy
  7. And how so exactly? And how so exactly? He put down his helmet, it will be obviously oral abuse, he will be reading poems to her Chilloutman ...this must be one of the funniest things you have said, good one You can add to this, he puts down his helmet and " starts lecturing her about how she has betrayed the SJW code of Kings Landing " @ Fighter Its all the innuendo about rape that has convinced me she does indeed get raped. For example Cersei wants the worst punishment for her Gregor removes his helmet, the act of rape symbolically always involves a man taking his clothes off as he " prepares" The way Gregor is standing and the way she is lying on her back with her legs towards him Gregors entire personality is about someone who has used rape and other vile deeds as what defines his personality Gregor lacks refinement or subtlety, if she wanted someone to just torture that women she would have used someone like Qyburn who could have kept her alive for weeks and used his science and alchemy to make her really suffer...no this was about a more simple but brutal punishment....days of rape
  8. the bugs could eat mammal brains to steal memories and intelligence and the horror they might inspire would still pale compared to the gut-churning revulsion we suffered when reality tv celebrities evolved back in the early 1990s. we spit on your centipedes. we laugh at them. there were articles in the freaking nyt and washington post telling us 'bout the conflict between some grimy bike messenger and a kid with aids... with comments from president clinton? freaking surreal world. bring on your sooper bugs and antibiotic-resistant diseases and chuds. our capacity for shock and awe died when paris hilton became a celebrity. HA! Good Fun! Sometimes you really funny Gromnir
  9. ?? Merkel is one of the most respected leaders within many circles of the EU Germany is an excellent example of how a country can recreate and redefine itself despite a troubled past and jingoistic military history Germany was able to assume economic dominance in the EU through hard work and prudent economic views, they didnt have to do it through military means Merkel has made some mistakes but her overall leadership and outcome from that leadership should be recognized, respected and praised. Germany is a one of the core foundations of the EU and the EU is an economic success story considering the nature of the union and the countries involved So to say you think Merkel is worthless you must be saying the EU is worthless?
  10. I disagee, everything in the scene says he raped her But cant someone just confirm this....you guys must have access to forums or links to confirm this. What are other people saying?
  11. Great! Now I have coffee all over my monitor! That would be funny if only you were joking. Hillary Clinton does not want to destroy the US. I don't think she thinks she could. Hillary Clinton is only interested in the glorification of Hillary Clinton. If she happens to help a few people along the way that;s great. If she happens to ruin a few people along the way then f--k them. And yes she can certainly win this election (God help us all) . Oh and by the way there was not gay marriage bill. The Supreme Court found that there was ALWAYS a right to gay marriage as an "equal protection" issue. Or more accurately the court found that prohibiting it was actually prohibited. And by the way, Barack Obama was OPPOSED to it before the SCOTUS took it up: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/barackobama/3375059/Barack-Obama-marriage-is-between-a-man-and-a-woman.html. Yes Obama did have reservations about gay marriage but he changed his mind and so did his administration, we allow people and politicians to acknowledge mistakes GD. We believe people can reflect on past opinions and then change what they said dont we? http://edition.cnn.com/2015/03/06/politics/obama-nationwide-same-sex-marriage/index.html
  12. How does anyone have any confidence in Clinton. She has never not made a mistake. Everything she does and wants is wrong all the time. It's almost comical. I have absolute confidence in her as she offers a future for the USA that is ideologically aligned with a more tolerant and equitable society and she supports the eponymous " Obama Legacy " I can understand valid criticism of aspects of the Obama legacy but end of the day the various outcomes and changes of the Obama legacy , like the gay marriage bill, are more positive and constructive than bad I believe Hilary Clinton has the best overall interests of the USA at heart and so do most Americans and I'm hoping we can move on beyond this whole " Clinton wants to destroy the USA and she cant possibly win the election " after she does indeed win the election in November You Americans are fortunate to have such a wide range of competent potential leaders
  13. Self flagellation? I'm no "liberal" (in the American sense of the word) but I'm not watching them. If I want to see leftist hypocrisy I'll just watch the news. Also most of this guys videos are not based on fact, he generalizes and uses lots of hyperbole I generally find him to be offensive and fatuous
  14. I can completely understand a degree of annoyance about people in other countries ostensibly getting involved in the affairs of the USA because they have concerns over events in the USA ..when they should be more concerned with the state of there own country But thats a reality of the importance of the USA, the sustainability and stability of the USA is inextricably link to the sustainability and stability of the Western world and certain global dynamics like the financial market So people outside the USA will always have a vested interest in the USA ...and sometimes this is meant to be positive and constructive and sometimes its negative where people want the USA to fail
  15. Excellent account of your holiday trip as usual As GD said people vicariously follow your family trip with great attention
  16. Yes he did rape her....and the rape would have lasted days But his character seems different to the books, in the TV series he seems to have more sentience after he is resurrected So he would be capable of an erection in the series making this punishment by Cersei particularly vile and repugnant
  17. Less likable than Trump? Is that possible?
  18. Not exactly "elderly", but during my teenage years, I had a few half-uncles (mothers half-brothers), one of which was a heroin addict. Long story short, for a short time, my parents were the legal guardians after the home they stayed in got closed by the police after it came you that the kids were both sexually abused, subjected to physical torture of the kind you see in horror movies (held down in bath tabs with icy cold waters to the point of drowning etc.). They ended up there in the first place after their mother died from cancer and their father committed suicide shortly after, so off to a bad start in life. In any case, my parents trieed their best to take in another few kids besides their own and it was just a task too big for what was then very young parents. When the oldest of them got the withdrawal symptons, he would run off to the local pushers and get his "fix". We usually knew which geneneral area to comb through the hangouts of needle users at the time. Under bridges, abandoned backyards, public toilets (this was the 80's train stations and similar places didn't have controlled access to their toilets). Few things beat kicking your way through white, clammy corpses lying on the ground, blood having trickled from ruptured veins, covered in vomit and an all penetrating smell of old urine and feces. I still remember touching the "flesh" of my relative when hoisting him uup and started dragging him out into the open and back home. Incredibly, he lived for another few decades before dying from OD (I suspect he lived so long because he spent most of that time in jail). Still, it leaves an impression on a 15 year old when you see that much human misery up close and I still can't stand being around "bodily fluids", so no desensitizing there So because you had to look for your relatives as a 15 year old in places that forced you to search through locations with " white, clammy corpses lying on the ground, blood having trickled from ruptured veins, covered in vomit and an all penetrating smell of old urine and feces " now you find yourself a little squeamish about body fluids Thats a very unreasonable perspective to have Gorthie....dont you think you are overreacting
  19. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/conventional-wisdom-was-firing-his-campaign-manager-a-turning-point-for-trump/ Guys here is an interesting link that a forum member sent me through PM , not sure if this has been posted before
  20. Oh my hat the final episode was brilliant Cersei Lannister takes the cake as one of the most diabolical villians IMO, I cannot believe she massacred everyone in that Alchemists Wildfire attack !!! And the fate of that one women being left to the cruel sexual deprivations of the Mountain ( that must be a fate worse than death ) But Daenerys Stormborn ( my favorite female character ) is coming to reclaim her throne ....there will be a reckoning
  21. Why would you possibly say Cameron is a loser? You dont understand the reality Cameron promised the UK he would have this referendum, he kept his word and he understandably stepped down when Brexit won, he isn't required to now navigate the UK exit He is a man of his word and he has integrity, do you see that as a weakness?
  22. Yes of course I'm proud of my British legacy. I know the British did some questionable and cruel things in there empire. We accept this of course but the British did more good than bad and they often unfairly judged And of course what matters the most is what they like now? And thats an easy one to answer, they considered a real success story
  23. Volo that is an utterly scurrilous and defamatory comment.....you really should be embarrassed. This information below is directly from the EU charter ....I would not be surprised if the EU forum members demand an apology from you...of course the EU cares !!! Article 1 Human dignity Human dignity is inviolable. It must be respected and protected. Article 2 Right to life 1. Everyone has the right to life. 2. No one shall be condemned to the death penalty, or executed. Article 3 Right to the integrity of the person 1. Everyone has the right to respect for his or her physical and mental integrity. 2. In the fields of medicine and biology, the following must be respected in particular: the free and informed consent of the person concerned, according to the procedures laid down by law, the prohibition of eugenic practices, in particular those aiming at the selection of persons, the prohibition on making the human body and its parts as such a source of financial gain, the prohibition of the reproductive cloning of human beings. Article 4 Prohibition of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment No one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
  24. Funny enough this makes sense, they are very similar in many ways Neither Putin or Edrogan care much about things like human rights
  25. Yes this is true, for some reason Scotland has always been very ungrateful IMO to what England has done for them To be part of the UK should be celebrated yet many Scottish people resent the UK, you almost want to tell Scotland " fine leave the UK " but Scotland is very relevant and important contributor towards the UK so we want them to stay Don't you live in country that fought their way out from British(English) rule? No I'm English but I'm South African English and most of us have ties to the UK
