  1. Yes post some pics
  2. Also you Czechs have an active and memorable red light district Really? I thought we are top in porn business, never heard about red light district there much (except highway E55 which was know for prostitution) Remember I told you I have an aunt who was married to a Czech man, he passed away but they 2 kids who are cousins and his mom still lives in Czech. They call her babička, I met her several times She is very sweet and friendly, she didn't speak English but my cousins translate Yes to be fair its not a red light district but a street with curtains that are different colors and that means different experiences
  3. Hungary is fine and recommended but not a place where the Russians are involved in a war or have annexed....like Crimea Remember he is from the USA and doesnt need to be exposed to that type of belligerence
  4. Also you Czechs have an active and memorable red light district
  5. This is good info, some people may differ on some views you have but thats fine. Red can decide for himself
  6. But give him some details around each place you suggest, just a brief summary of why each place is worthwhile. And remember he has never been to the EU and doesn't know much about each culture so Im sure it will be appreciated
  7. Oh my hat you are going to have such an amazing time, I cannot express how entertaining it will be So English is fine, everyone should speak a semblance of English so dont stress But yes your funds will dictate the holiday and how you will travel, so if you dont mind how money will you take ? And you dont have anywhere specific you want to see because then you need to think about what you enjoy as there is everything in the EU and I can give you many recommendations
  8. You don't need a degree but it does require some historical understanding and empathy around the history of the Europeans But things get complicated around this topic and its not necessary to go into details unless you really want to get a different perspective ?
  9. According to you it is, the thing is do you consider yourself someone who has a deep understanding and view of bigotry?
  10. This video made me laugh, it raises an interesting point which I want to unpack Before the election result I would have said " that black guy is an embarrassment to his race, why would he be aligning to a racist? Where is his pride ? " But the Trump victory made me redefine and reassess certain views people like myself have about SJ and what defines our view about what is equality and tolerance. I had some misplaced views around what Trump stood for and I made certain assumptions but Trump manipulated the media and did make some offensive comments so I don't hold myself responsible for this misunderstanding So now for example Trump has backtracked on most of his truly controversial comments and I realize he isnt racist towards black people as I assumed So in summary, its fine for a black person to wear a " pro-Trump " shirt, its unfair and unreasonable to criticize the guy because he can support Trump
  11. Are you guys suggesting Hilary Clinton wanted to go to war with Russia? Can you produce a link or explain further ?
  12. Dude.....where have you been? Thats such old sentiment, we have to give Trump a chance. He has backtracked on lots of what he said that was offensive so we must give him the benefit of the doubt as the next elected US president
  13. and from what he did just now. The article is vague, in one place it says he was evaluated and in another place "not adjudicated". My guess is it's the latter, and the reason is no one bothered to adjudicate him, it was easier to just give the gun back. PTSD, not the same thing as insanity, or to be more accurate, paranoid schizophrenia that appears to be this case. WOD is correct, this guy should never have been given his gun back...there was a major breakdown of social and legal responsibilities here But he was suffering from PTSD, this has been confirmed when his brother said since returning from his Iraq 2011 tour he was never the same
  14. You clearly need some nice adult mod to spice up the game
  15. This is a good point. If Putin is prepared to send agents to London and successfully poison, it was in his tea I believe, a Russian dissident the hacking of the DNC to benefit there own political aspirations should be no surprise to anyone
  16. KP its inaccurate and unfair to compare Saudi Arabia to ISIS ISIS is much, much worse
  17. And? Should we just accept it now in a connected and digital age ?
  18. Thats a good question In the case of SA currently no they wouldn't be justified as the private sector is suppose to be separate .....but personally I would prefer SA would be more concerned with this type of cyber attack but we are still dealing with certain disruptive social, economic and political realities that are due to Apartheid and bad government decisions, so SA is probably a bad example
  19. I'm glad you asked " what should be done next ", that is a very relevant question The current punitive steps Obama took is fine for the short term, it sends a message. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/29/us/politics/russia-election-hacking-sanctions.html?_r=0 But going forward we need Trump to at least acknowledge the threat, failing that we need reinvestment in the USA cyber-warfare division so the USA can protect itself going forward and Russia needs to be made aware these types of cyber-attacks are unacceptable Sanctions can be increased if Russia ignores this but no one is suggesting the USA must go to war with Russia....thats ridiculous and will never happen because of mutually assured destruction https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_assured_destruction
  20. There are several Republicans equally concerned, people like Lindsey Graham http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/gop-senators-join-dems-condemn-russian-political-hacking/
  21. Very pithy words, very wise
  22. Because there is no evidence. And these agencies are responsible for security are they not? I think I already stated that, but if those 17 agencies would state that Russia "hacked the election" AND their chiefs would all place resignation letters the same day, because they feel responsible, I would consider that something happened. Right now it's just word against word. So: "If you don't believe in this theory then you don't believe in Democracy"? That's an old leftist song and no one buys this narration anymore, sorry. Wanting proof for claims has little to nothing to do with democracy. If anything wanting proof and holding gov agencies responsible is STRENGHTENING Democracy. Do you think that Russia is a good example of a Democracy? Do you prefer the Russian view of the world to lets say the view of the EU has where we recognize and enforce human rights and tolerance ?
  23. Despite some Republicans disputing this Russia also hacked the RNC http://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/russia-withheld-hacked-rnc-emails-to-help-trumps-campaign-report/ But I dont think this will change your mind about whether this was an attack on the USA so let me ask you this Dont you believe in a Democracy the election process needs to be as free and fair as possible, for example we know there is always some negligible degree of domestic vote rigging in all Democracies which we expect and normally doesnt impact the end voting outcome If you believe the process of the election should be sacrosanct then surely you can see that hacking the computer system that maintains vital information around any political party should be considered an attack on the election system because you are undermining one of the core components of that Democracy , a political party And if you seek to undermine the Democracy of any country then is that not an attack on that country ?
  24. We need to discuss the Russian hacking of the DNC, thats what the thread is about but as it pertains to Russia this is about a history and culture of these types of events so the context needs to include how Russia has been involved in interfering in numerous governments for the last 10 years through there skill around cyber-warfare There is no doubt Russia was involved. It makes any discussion around this topic impossible to have if a person actually tries to claim " Russia wasn't involved or there is no evidence " 17 different US security agencies have stated this, why would you doubt this? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/10/21/17-intelligence-agencies-russia-behind-hacking/92514592/
