  1. It is funny but you seldom joke on the " serious " topics so I assumed it was your real opinion But I wouldnt quit your day job with aspirations of becoming a comedian You know I have been told by most of my girlfriends I have a terrible sense of humor, one or 2 of them have even accused my sense of humor of being " sick " ....I think my sense of humor is great. Its just misunderstood by many
  2. Yeah I hear you guys, I remember there was this time where he seemed to be this political maverick and he made a lot of sense to me on certain issues....but now
  3. I have no time or respect for the illogical ramblings of Ron Paul.....his own son has got Corona, what more evidence does he need to accept people like Fauci know exactly what they talking about ? What has actually happened to Ron Paul...he never use to be so conspiratorial and uninformed?
  4. Before I move onto my next single player game I have been playing some RDR2 online, its early days and Im enjoying it so far Has anyone played it before and what is your view on RDR2 online? I see some missions you need to do it with other players and so far my biggest complaint is I dont always find other players online to help me complete the missions
  5. I see Putin has been exposed to the virus through a doctor he was shaking hands with who now has Corona, Putin is under self-quarantine https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-putin-doctor-idUSKBN21I1Z1
  6. Im pleasantly surprised how Russia is helping other countries....since the USSR collapsed humanitarian assistance to other countries is not there normal way, they also sent medical staff to Italy https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-russia-italy-idUSKBN219081
  7. Thats a good tip, I never progressed in Blood Shield but I should have it has some serious advantages
  8. I just finished Vampyr and it was a good game and enjoyable experience, its gets a solid 70/100 on the globally trusted and highly respected " BruceVC gaming rating score system " Initially I was frustrated when I battled to beat certain Bosses like Fergal but then I realized it was because of the level differences, he was 18 and I was 13 or so and I accepted I would have to feed on people who I liked but I needed there blood to advance and save London. I felt guilty about certain civilians I killed but I justified it as I was saving the country so I considered it there sacrifice to save many more people
  9. Thanks for the links but this supports my original point. Outside of China the worlds Internet routers, and all forms of TCP/IP communication, use IP4 and IP6 but these protocols like all software protocols align to the different levels of the OSI model which means specific protocols exist and have certain functions within each level. So in summary its irrelevant what the Chinese want to do because they dont get to decide how data flows and connects using TCP/IP. All they can do is create there own data protocols within there country but this wont mean the rest of the world will follow this unnecessary path The) International Standards Organization is responsible for the OSI model and the development of all related TCP/IP protocols https://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/OSI_Layers.asp
  10. I tend to agree about the source and cause of the virus being China but how are the Chinese trying to undo TCP/IP? It is the core routing protocol of the Internet and IP 6 was created after Vince Cerfs important contribution. Within China the Chinese can attempt to create there own routing protocol but it will only apply within there own country so who cares what they do within there borders as long as it not virus related or something similar
  11. Volo under the circumstances I thinks its best Canada and its citizens accept the temporary suspension of rights and certain Constitutional outcomes.... all Canadians, like most other countries, should be trusting and supporting your government . These are unusual times and they call for unusual actions from all governments
  12. Why do you think you will die this year....what about your dogs, who is going to look after them?
  13. It will be interesting to see if Trump is still able to win in November, I think this virus, the damage done to the economy and the initial lackluster response from White House is going to cost him
  14. Hi Orog Nice to hear from you again
  15. https://nypost.com/2020/03/30/belarus-president-believes-vodka-and-saunas-will-cure-coronavirus/ So the president of Belarus is ignoring the global health advice and thinks the virus is fake news....its unacceptable that you have world leaders who sprout this garbage but at least Belarus isnt exactly a serious tourist or trade destination so hopefully this ignorance causes limited damage as it spreads in Belarus
  16. We hope it wont be a train wreck, Sweden is indeed helping Science and our understanding of the virus but I am not sure if its worth the possible and real sickness and or deaths of thousands of Swedish citizens...I wouldn't volunteer South Africa for that type of " understanding " . I was watching an interview on CNN about this and the Swedes have some of there own science around this so hopefully everything works out well for our Swedish friends who we like a lot
  17. I can almost guarantee you the Chinese lied about there total deaths, this is exactly the same problem as mentioned in the article where the Chinese have been cavalier and disingenuous about the reality of how dangerous this virus can be and how easily it can be spread....anyway its too late now to address this so lets just focus on getting through this difficult period and afterwards these questions will be asked
  18. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/03/26/sweden-keeps-schools-borders-open-huge-experiment-virus/ Sweden is keeping there schools and some restaurants open.....very interesting choice...I wouldnt take the risk
  19. One of the positive outcomes I hope to see at the end of this virus in a new world that has recovered from the egregious health and economic consequences is a vast reduction to lazy, repetitive and inaccurate fake news or just people repeating baseless conspiracy theories I am not referring to you as we have had chats about your views and what you mean but I mean for example people denying certain irrefutable facts about this virus and how it spread For example there are 2 irrefutable facts about this virus that we have discussed before but just to reiterate Its genesis is from the China, its comes from the exotic wildlife markets. It was never the intention to create or spread the virus of the Chinese government but that doesn't change the facts. The Chinese government did know about how these types of viruses can spread from animals to humans and have only now closed down their exotic animal markets The Chinese government mishandled the initial outbreak in Wuhan for the first month and one of there failures was not providing all the information accurately they knew about the virus or the local Chinese provincial leadership denied its true danger. Anyway that meant the world was about 4 weeks behind the actual nature of this virus. China has subsequently addressed this and does have an effective strategy to stop the spread which they are happy to share and do share with the global community, China is also offering resources to help countries and countries like South Africa are prudently utilizing the Chinese assistance But China has a real responsibility around the creation and spread of this virus which shouldn't and cannot be denied. This doesnt absolve any specific government of not following the CDC and WHO advice and approach to dealing with the spread and having resources like PPE for there healthcare people
  20. After a thrilling and truly amazing gaming experience in RDR2 I am now playing Vampyr and its good fun. I am trying to be a nice Vampire where reasonable but I will happily chomp anyone who annoys me
  21. Some good news, latest season of Ozark on Netflix
  22. We have had our first 2 deaths in SA...as it has been demonstrated in almost all Democracies there are people being dismissive of the principle of self-quarantine and what the lock down means but generally people are trying to adhere to the new virus regulations I never thought I would ever say this but China has one major advantage to most countries and Democracies, the citizens listen to the state and there are real consequences for ignoring the state. Anyway we cannot change certain fundamental realities of freedom of choice and what this means to all of us so we just have to see how things unfold and realize we are in this together as citizens and your actions can have outcomes Be safe
  23. I watched that interview and found it particularly egregious, nonsensical and insensitive... the LG was literally suggesting he has met old people who are prepared to sacrifice themselves for the future of the economy and there children and grandchildren....I find that hard to believe and its basically illogical. Which elderly person would be prepared to end there life in defense of this metaphorical and nebulous ultimate sacrifice called the " Economy "
  24. I think you are referring to stock buyback choices some companies did, not shareholder\dividend payouts and yes its unethical as it utilizes extra money to artificially boost the share price when in fact extra money should be kept in a fund for exact;y this type of crisis where workers/staff may need to paid for 3 months but they arent able to generate revenue Paying out dividends now is just silly and massive waste of capital considering the reality of the global economy
  25. Very strange to not at least postpone ....the Olympics and 2020 WC in Qatar will both be postponed so Im surprised any government cant wait a few months for some election
