I always like to get anyone's opinion on any question I ask so its great you sharing your view on this Cancel culture and culture wars I find are more of a US contagion that is fueled by their endless political dichotomy and we all sometimes tend to get pulled into those unhelpful debates in many of our countries so my question is not about anything related to that. I know you not suggesting this but this is how some people respond to that question You make some good points but its hard to see my concern if you not a fan of comics and certain characters and the symbolism. Their shouldnt be a need to change the original race of anyone, you can create new characters and those can become loved and admired But I agree mantles in comics do get handed over and I have no issue with that in the case of Bruce Wayne retires and he hands over to a Hispanic, Chinese or black new Batman But I would object to a female Thor because Thor is the son of Odin and he is a man and thats based on the accurate Norse mythology

Great link, its very cogent I wonder why Denmark has decided to participate in various military operations compared to other Nordic countries? I realize your countries are all separate and have different views on certain global issues but you also very similar with your value system. Why do you think Denmark is different in this regard with its military?

Absolutely, I think Denmark has done really well with its military training in both current and historical interventions I would suggest your country has the most experienced army compared to all the Nordic countries and that includes Finland which I understand has always been aware of its history with the Soviets and its border with Russia? But as we mentioned nothing beats actual combat experience

Amentep whats your opinion on changing the race of superhero characters from white to black? I know this has been discussed in the past but I want to get your current view I am opposed to it because I dont think you need to change any established character for something to be financially successful. Black Panther is testimony to that outcome The entertainment industry should create new black superheroes and if the characters are memorable and exciting then the agency and success will be decided by peoples wallets the way it should be But I dont see the point of a black spider-man or black batman because the original characters werent black ?

Yes I agree, it would be a different military reality if the Russians were defending their country and their would be real and effective resistance But the reality of the US is since 9/11 it has trained, funded and honed its military in a way that makes them by far the most powerful military in the world. Ironically as much as we all hate wars and conflicts any country needs an "active " war to ensure it has combat experience During Apartheid the SA military spent decades in Angola and Namibia fighting the Soviet onslaught, and ensuring a buffer zone was created for SA, and until the late 1980's SA was considered to have one of worlds most well trained special forces because they use to deploy in small groups into the jungles of Angola for various reasons So its weird but you almost need war to be an effective military force

Another reality from Putins War is the ending of the suggestion that the Russian army would defeat the US in war. Obviously their wont be a war between the US and Russia, and Putin can be grateful for the reality of mutually assured destruction by nukes, because I dont think the Russia military would last a month against the US military in a "normal " war

I dont know how true that is but I do know its not in the best military interest of either Russia or Ukraine to attack cities controlled by the other side if you just consider the disastrous Russian military campaign

Like I said earlier, just when I think the Russians cant be worse in their military strategy they prove me wrong and do something worse They learning from the Russians Their have been numerous stories of mass rape and civilians being executed At the end of Putins War some of these will definitely be true and thats where the War Crimes charges will come from
