A story does not need to be EPIC to be great or compelling. It does need drama (conflict with emotional value) but it doesn't need to be DRAMATIC. I meant it ironic.^^ Personally, I like subtelty in my stories/video games more.

Why exactly do you believe gamespot? There are multiple other sources that say the complete opposite.

From the gamespot review. They listened main story isn't compelling .... This is it fellow friends . EPIC, DRAMATIC is the key to great, compelling writing.

It's average/good overall. A lot of games get that kind of metacritic score, but it's still better than most of what Obsidian has done (KOTOR2 has the same metacritic score btw). NV is actually higher Kotor2 PC: 85 NV PC: 88

PC Version has 88 currently PS3 84. It's good for the moment and its Obsidians highest rated game yet.

I'm actually more scared that someone on this world actually roleplays this stuff with some crazy explanation.

Most other reviewers praise the storytelling including Daniel Vavra. Lead Writer of Mafia 1+2 And the ones that don't praise it speak about FO3 as if it was a philosopical masterpiece.

Nvidia cards have problems. Try to turn the water multisampling down.

Not to me. Remember, this is a game that's coming out several years after Fallout 3, thus they had all those extra years to work out the original's kinks. Of course, while building a game of this size there's bound to be new kinks introduced into the mix.. Several years? It's been ca. 2 years. And the project was still in pre-production in february 2009. I think they had enough to do putting all the content in.

Well, expect the article is a little suspect. The things listened nearly all happened in FO3 too.

You would have to play it. (If you ever have the chance. Do it. It's a great game.) And it resembles more Seiken Denetsu 3 then SD2/SOM IMO.

They are complaining about a video that shows heavy stuttering. Could just be a cache issue or something. We'll see And Bugs till now sound like regular BethesdaGamebryo bugs.

I also thought of Mana after a while. I mean this would be close to how a modern Mana Game would look (Naturally different artstyle). Man, Seiken Denetsu has to be the worst trashed series ever. Legend of Mana was the last really good one.

So, how New Vegas looks from the streams New Vegas is finally an Obsidian main game that feels complete and actually good (more balanced) combat (Naturally, that depends on how you like the combat) Now Dungeon Siege III and Onyx just has to (hopefully) reduce the bugs and the future looks very nice.^^ (Of course that view can entirly change when I play through New Vegas)

Its played on pc. But then again they are using a controller so we dont know anything if the same applies if you are using a keyboard.

No clue. Austria should have one, but I am not sure. This time we got zero information about the censored / not censored things in the games. I mean, the normal gore censorship was clear anyway. I ordered it from the shop of a good friend of mine. Well, F3 was uncensored so I'll hope for the best. Thanks anyway.

Agree. Hey, we are here on an Obsidian board. Quality in a game is something very subjective and entirly dependant on what elements you like about a game. I, for one. Do not care about Bugs or polish. Never did.
