  1. Half expected that from the reviewer and after that preview.
  2. There would be many who would disagree here. But this is another discussion. Also none of Biowares decisions actually have that big a consequence you seem to want. Closest would be DA:O.
  3. There have been younger leaders in real world history. Also she is actually a pretty good one. Also "it would just". No it wouldn't "just". It would demand a huge focus on the design and writing part of the game to get it right. Otherwise it would be a halfassed, illogical addition.
  4. Runs smooth on my NVIDIA. By any chance are you running a dual core?
  5. 1. You can "ally" with everyone as part of the main quest. 2. No, and this also isn't possible in NV. That would be actually be pretty big for any rpg and would require a lot if done right (though you actually have a lot of influence in that regard regarding the Legion itself). Also Stonebridge is quite possible worse than the royals and have done worse things. 3. No answer. Sorry. Not gonna open that can of worms. Apart from that though. Females are well represented in the game.
  6. New Vegas focused on that though. DSIII didn't. Theres still several fleshed out factions you come across in this game. But its not that you can join them as you represent your own faction in the game. You still interact with them in multiple ways though.
  7. Actually, I tried both ways of doing that fight because it did indeed feel weird. Didn't notice much difference really. I'm guessing it was just damage numbers and such really that was the difference.
  8. It doesn't seem to be as I've already heard others play through the game (on XBOX) without apparent freezing problems. For example this guy: http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/showt...d.php?t=1012990 (German)
  9. I don't think the Gunderic Mansion (and the Sidequests in General) have much Consequences aside from the Endslides. How you handle Rajani on the other hand could even have bigger Alpha Protocol Style Consequences though from what I've seen in a stream.
  10. Found a lore deed for gathering lore entries and a deed earned because of how I handled the villagers in Rill when doing quests and I've got one for earning Anjali's trust. Also, the deed I got for solving the password problem with the talking door was Solver of Cipers, +2 agility. I also gained one at the end of the Gunderic quest. You also gain at least 1 deed for completing side-quests. So far, those are the ones that don't pertain to the main story (deeds that you theoretically miss). With story deeds included, I've got 7 deeds total. So far, I'm level 13 and haven't played more yet since gaining Katarina, my second companion. Current game time is 5 hours and 57 minutes. I think you can actually NOT do the Gunderic Mansion if you want. So the deeds in there are actually also Non-Story Deeds.
  11. Ooh, that's interesting. What does it give? My bro and I were suspecting something like that when the quest givers seem to hint that they are not willing to part with their gold rewards. +5 Will. So pretty big actually.
  12. Avatar of Ultimate Virtue is another one you get for refusing all rewards in Ravens Rill.
  13. When are they coming? I'd like to discuss some spoilery stuff regarding quests and charachters.
  14. 3 Theres still a story area (and an optional Dungeon "Heroes Crypt" which should give you nice background lore on DS1. I think at least.) before you reach the second Chapter.
  15. Still the same type of armor available. I've currently ran into a brick wall with the first big major boss (i.e. end of act 1 boss I think). ? Here are two that are discussing the fight and their tactics http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthrea...p;pagenumber=24 (Rookersh and BluntForceTrauma) Also its not the endboss for Chapter 1 if it is that boss.
  16. That is a matter of opinion. It doesn't have the issues though other Obsidian games suffered. Mainly large amounts of bugs and objectivly bad combat (With some little exceptions).
  17. Video Review from classicl337.com Edit: Gameunition http://www.gamemunition.com/reviews/dungeo...ge-3-pc-review/ Gamingexperience Review http://thegamingexperience.net/dungeon-siege-iii/ Beertainment Review http://beertainment.tv/2011/06/16/review-dungeon-siege-iii/
  18. The best part of that OXM review is this Yeah, totally. Except: -All of the big factions (Lescanzi/Royals/Azunite) in the game are lead by women -The hero of the first game is established here in canon as female -Archons are the right hand people of the old gods. And since the gods probably can't be described with male/female this leaves females actually as the "superior" gender. Man, this game is just so mysgonistic. I mean I understand the sentiment towards the charachter clothing. But its used as a desperate punchline against the writing...
  19. OXM Yeaahhh, I'm pretty sure the reviewer didn't actually get the real joke here. Also there is actually (at least one from what I've seen) non-combat quest which renders his entire argument moot...
  20. I like the name, actually. Would really be interesting to hear what the background on it is.
  21. I think the games problem in that regard is that there are too many randomized items. Around 15'000 (with less than 50 originals IIRC) I think and its "only" a 10-20 hour game. Allocation of the items in the gameworld suffered as a consequence probably.
  22. Thanks. Really fine impressions. If I understood an earlier post of Nathaniel correctly, not at all. You enter Act 2 when you are given the choice of completing two major plot areas in whichever order you want. Weird. You should have at least found armor that varied in color.
  23. Yep, I always play with it on so I didn't notice it thus far but yeah just tested it.
