FO: NV (Spoilers)
Is there a campfire near Novac? It's my base of operations and has a workbench and reloading bench nearby, but I can't find a campfire.

FO: NV (General Discussion)
You can drop them if you don't want to give yourself a leg up to start. On the other hand, I am loving the ammo crafting as I just built up a ton of badass .357, .308, and 10mm rounds. .357 for general purpose, .308 for hard targets, and 10mm for juicy soft targets. Oh baby!!! :D

FO: NV (Spoilers)
Lord Death is a good perk indeed. Working on Lord Death of Murder Mountain.

Okay, what are the penalties for me as well haha. I think you only suffer penalties to using the weapon if you don't meet the requirement.

Soooo, limb damage. What's the results of having parts of the body crippled on NPCs?

I have no issues with Boone. He pew pews 90% of the time for me. @Virumor - Which weapons have higher crit chance?

Sneak criticals do an extra double damage on top of the critical I believe. i.e. normal damage = 20, crit is +20 (so 40), but with Sneak Critical it's x2 so 80 damage total. The better criticals is added onto this which would bump the damage up to 120.

Was it a previously stolen weapon? I have heard that that happens.

Just wandered in and wiped out some gang called the Scorpions (or something similar). Did this while on my way to collect bounties. Also got a kickass brain for Rex.

The Iraq war was a disgrace, but sometimes we forget just how much
This does appear to be a good motto for yourself. Bravo!

Fallout: New Vegas
I think the barter successes are often slightly different than the speech checks though, aren't they?

If you have high science skill, you can trap the viruses so that once you've captured it, you don't need to capture it again in subsequent attempts.

Pfft, I jury rigged the thing :D (I love the descriptions that it used for jury rigging it hahaha)

What are you playing now
Cazadors are nasty. I got my butt whooped by the young ones. They're just too fast. Trying to shoot them off in real time is a huge pain in the ass, but they're so much easier with VATS it's practically cheating. I still find them hella hard to deal with. Those big ones are pretty tough.

Fallout: New Vegas
What are the penalties to each of the disabled limbs? I know if I take out the right arm of someone they usually drop their weapon. Decreased accuracy with a crippled head I assume? Crippled legs is definitely slower. Not sure about off arm or Torso though.

Fallout: Las Vegas Survivors' Journal
You get it just by wandering with her I believe. I have heard that she makes comments on the stuff that you are doing/wandering and there's a variety of places where she makes them and you need enough of them to go off (or it could just be time related I dunno). Eventually she asks you to go to Hidden Valley.

Another possibility is to collect 3 scrap metal, 1 scrap electronics & 2 sensor modules to fix it. I just need 2 sensor modules and I'm done. Repair seems to be fairly useless to me, since I'm not interested in crafting and the weapon degrading isn't as fast as in FO3. I have had a fair number of repair options in conversations, as well quest/note jobs which save a ton of time. I like repair for the ammo work however.

I just gave her some Prewar "Casual Wear" and she does make comments on it

Fallout: New Vegas
Quite a few things in fact. It had far less bugs for one. I don't think I encoutered even half the problems in whole of Fallout 3 that New Vegas has in only one area. Bugs are always a questionable thing to focus on. FO3 has a reputation for being excessively buggy (I had virtually no issues), and FONV is following up that reputation (again, I have had virtually no issues as well). I disagree. Some industry quality standards are in place for open world games and players have every right to judge games accordingly. I also had few minor issues with Fallout 3 but New Vegas turned out to be quite another story. There are people that have had the complete opposite of what you experienced. If they suffered from it. That's the point. The GECK is out for consoles too?

Fallout: New Vegas
This game is sucking me away for anywhere for 6-12 hour play sessions.... Having a blast and I love the vast number of dialogue options that skills and attributes contribute to.

The quality of video games has declined over the past 10 years.
I still need to play Sanitarium too now that I think about it...

If you take the repair perk, you can craft .50 cal rounds.
