  1. our brain doesn't need more oxygen to think better (or clearer) as much as more energy.. So if I could have an implant that constantly supplied me with the broken down compounds my body needed- and sorted out the bad ones - I would choose that.

Then you could go eat and drink like you wanted without consequences.. hedonism is my favorite sin! ^_^

    You mean gluttony?

I would go with the healing. Lifespan would probably be significantly improved. I want to live to see as much as possible.

  2. Had all four of mine cut out. Was in pain the first day after the drugs wore off. The next few days it was just discomfort and not being able to eat solid foods. I just took some ibuprofin or whatever and I was fine. I only used two of the lortabs they gave me. I traded the rest for some homegrown ganj.

  3. I'm not really sure what you were expecting though.

Better graphics! More polygons used for the ground. More polygons used as grass to cover the ground. Bump mapping, perhaps, for the ground textures? I don't know, just something that fools me into thinking it's ground, not just a few ugly textured polygons.

Everything else about Crysis looks so unbelievably good that such an apparent flaw in the picture becomes extra noticeable.

I'd imagine that while moving around, as in running, which it appears will be the case throughout a good bit of the game, the "flaw" in the ground will be much less noticeable.

  4. There's a hockey thread alreayd. on top of this, I feel fighting in hockey should be abloished. fighting should be auto rejection, and a certain amount of fights = compulsion. For me, personally, it adds NOTHING to the GAME of hockey except me being annoyed while I wait for the REAL hockey to start again.

    Quiet, you woman.

  5. The best example of 'too much fluff' was when the one npc gives the history of the Blood War. Most of that was unnesseccary word vomit that added nothing (or very little) to the story that was being told. In fact, i'd wager that even those who actually like PST (like me) probably skimmed a lot of that dialogue because the fellow was just regurating word vomit which is very gross.

That's what immediately jumped to mind. I liked the conversation because I had never seen such a setting, and I wanted to know all I could, especially since it was so vastly different, and at the same time part of the same "world" as FR. I can definately see why people would consider it a tad wordy, though.
