Windows Movie Maker is incredibly easy to use and comes with XP SP2.
I've combined movies with that before, but they always turn out lower quality or super large filesize.

Had all four of mine cut out. Was in pain the first day after the drugs wore off. The next few days it was just discomfort and not being able to eat solid foods. I just took some ibuprofin or whatever and I was fine. I only used two of the lortabs they gave me. I traded the rest for some homegrown ganj.

I'm not really sure what you were expecting though.
Better graphics! More polygons used for the ground. More polygons used as grass to cover the ground. Bump mapping, perhaps, for the ground textures? I don't know, just something that fools me into thinking it's ground, not just a few ugly textured polygons.
Everything else about Crysis looks so unbelievably good that such an apparent flaw in the picture becomes extra noticeable.
I'd imagine that while moving around, as in running, which it appears will be the case throughout a good bit of the game, the "flaw" in the ground will be much less noticeable.

Gent'...Is that what they're calling gay over there now?
queer; for the uncivilized brute as yer'self.
and you wouldn't know what a Gent was, even if you saw one.. such civilized behaviour would be like magic to you.. and with your cold heart, and skeptic mind, he would therefore be invisible..
What if I don't believe in magic?

So, I've got two rather large .avi files that I need to join, then convert to a format (vcd?) that can play in an everyday dvd player. Any help, pointers, step-by-step walkthrough? "

Your former colony has fallen far without your guidance Britain.. but at least Autralia holds true to the true sport of a Gent'.

There's a hockey thread alreayd. on top of this, I feel fighting in hockey should be abloished. fighting should be auto rejection, and a certain amount of fights = compulsion. For me, personally, it adds NOTHING to the GAME of hockey except me being annoyed while I wait for the REAL hockey to start again.
Quiet, you woman.

That does look very good.

CDs and DVDs are already using this technology.
Not the same. CDs and DVDs are not faster than flash memory. These guys have created a new semiconductor alloy using this concept.
I was referring to phase-change technology, itself. But whatever.

And now, let's get some patience and wait ~5 years until this technology hits the shelves.

The best example of 'too much fluff' was when the one npc gives the history of the Blood War. Most of that was unnesseccary word vomit that added nothing (or very little) to the story that was being told. In fact, i'd wager that even those who actually like PST (like me) probably skimmed a lot of that dialogue because the fellow was just regurating word vomit which is very gross.
That's what immediately jumped to mind. I liked the conversation because I had never seen such a setting, and I wanted to know all I could, especially since it was so vastly different, and at the same time part of the same "world" as FR. I can definately see why people would consider it a tad wordy, though.
-
Based on the above facts, we can conclude that those who dont like PST are not the best that the human race has to offer, intelligence wise.
That makes you one of the best the human race has to offer, intelligence wise? Pretty bold statement.

Gamers grips have grown weak from their soft dual shock controllers
Makes one long for the days of the NES. Now there was a controller. All those sharp edges on everything. Guaranteed to give you blisters before you managed to tear yourself away.
After a long hiatus from Nintendo a while ago, the controller felt nigh unusable. It was just so small.

How many lives are worth a country's name?
This about this before you reply please.
As many as it takes to get the job done.

If they brought back the draft, before I got called, I'd join the Air Force.

Yes Volourn, I find myself in agreement with you. You have made a constructive and challenging point. Thank you for sharing your constructive insights.
I disagree.

And in a few years some scientist will tell us that sitting tilted backwards is bad because in can damage the spine at the neck level from keeping your head straight.
Pfff. Science.
Good point. But more people suffer from chronic back problems than neck problems.
You're telling this to a man who's been to 5 AC/DC concerts... ^_^
You aren't more people.

You mean gluttony?
I would go with the healing. Lifespan would probably be significantly improved. I want to live to see as much as possible.
