Still in pre-alpha? Seems.. weird honestly. EDIT: Also, they've basically said nothing new. This interview was useless.

Obviously not. It's simply the whole "if you don't like my post don't read them!" that grates me. Granted, I concede that I may have overreacted but I've been in a fairly grumpy mood these last days.

Underrated games you like?
I remember Gromnir talking about pretty serious gameplay issues for Tactics. I personally never played it but may download it from GOG in the future. Too huge a backlog right now (and I just bought the humble indie pack, woe is me!) to even consider it tho'.

I don't know, it may be wildly subjective, and maybe I have the wrong idea of the average player's priorities, but I think it would generally be seen as weirder

Of course aesthetic issues are still issues but they're far from being as important as balance issues.

I'm not arguing that LadyCrimson is creepy or anything. Personally I couldn't care less about the preferences of other people regarding the game (though I get a chuckle once in a while browsing the Nexus) but I'm bothered by the fact that balance issues and flimsy issues of aesthetics are put as being exactly the same. They are not. That's.. kind of what I expect from most people but eh, point taken.

The headache maybe but the use of extremely flawed logic is a problem of yours in my book. I don't know, personally I wouldn't mix balance issues that heavily favor some character builds over others (which is a very valid complaint in an RPG that is designed on the idea that everyone should be able to solve every situation with their very personal character) with aesthetic reasons. If it's a bug it should be fixed, but obviously developers have priority, and most people will agree that it's a little weirder to stop playing until the "ashes piles don't disappear" bug is fixed than it is if you stop playing until the promised patch containing tweaks to balance comes out.

Please don't use that flawed argument again. It gives me an headache. Kthxbai.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced
**** it, I'm nervous. Ignore me.

The voice acting seemed okay to me. Of course, it's an empty non-descriptive CGI trailer. Who cares about those? Well, everyone, and that's fairly sad. Waiting for some screenshots/news.

BioWare's New Game
Isn't that fairly similar to ME2 development cycle? I guess. I'm just compairing it to DA2, which seems to take little over a year to hit the shelves. They did say that they started working on DA2 before finishing DA:O though, so it's possible that they started roughly when they finished the PC version, which was in March (IIRC) 2009. That would give them roughly 2 years for DA2 too.

WHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, but seriously, I hope that was just a fluke. NWN2 had some pretty bad animations.

They already said they won't be using idTech5. They've built upon their old technology. It means Gamebryo, so relax and enjoy being raped by the game when it comes out. With a little bit of effort you'll learn to enjoy that.

BioWare's New Game
JE is nothing like KOTOR, let alone NWN. Have you played the game? I think at this point it's established that sorophx doesn't play the games he talks about.

I'm listening. It doesn't sound too bad, but it's far from being memorable stuff.

BioWare's New Game
I don't like having sexual intercourse with video games Morgoth. That said, yeah, I'm actually probably going to buy that as a birthday present for myself. Of course, I also have a huge backlog so, maybe, I'll just wait for an Ultimate Edition, like with Dragon Age: Origins.

FO: NV (General Discussion)
Don't you have to play it to win a certain item or something like that? I may be misremembering, it's been a while since I've played KOTOR.

FO: NV (General Discussion)
You had to play Pazaak in KOTOR. Not so with Caravan. So it's already superior. And it's clear that a lot more thought went into Caravan than Pazaak even if I can't argue that it's more fun thanks to the braindead AI.

By the way, why do the Reapers attack the Earth? Is there anything I missed not playing Mass Effect 2? (I will eventually)

Eh, I don't know, I had some fun playing it.

BioWare's New Game
They have a team working on NV content Hurlshot, have you forgot about Dead Money? As for Wheel of Time, the state of the deal was widely debated. What the guys at Red Eagle said was that they were taking the key positions with an internal team while using Obsidz for the gruntwork but Feargus basically said that Red Eagle is the publisher/IP-holder and that's it in an interview to GameBanshee. So yeah.

Games you are looking forward to.
I'm not really sure how you can call either of them a "platformer". Or say that they both play the same.

Was the music of those two games any good? I can't say I remember much of the non-licensed soundtrack of Supernatural.
