I honestly picked up IW on some Steam sale for dirt cheep just out of morbid curiosity. To be honest, save your money and time and watch some YouTube LP of it. It's not worth your time playing it. At all.

If you do, I highly highly recommend then playing a Malkavian. They are Bat S*** crazy and insane, but they can see things. If you pay very close attention to all the lines your character says (having already played once) it's quite brilliant. Who ever wrote that at Troika did a fantastic job. And don't forget to say hi to the Stop Sign.

Still crossing my fingers but maintaining some cautious optimism for this... It CAN'T be as bad as IW was...

You defititely should get System Shock Portable then, it's very marginally more complicated then the straight DOSbox versions of MoO and XCOM I have from GG but that's because it's more flexible. Couple of clicks and you're in and I've had no problems on either xp/32 or win7/64. There is also http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ Provided you have a Windows 95 or 98 setup CD. I use that to play my very old beloved Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers.

Yes they get direction to make their games more "accessible" from the Doctor's/EA, but each team is headed up by a separate individual which guides and directs the team on their project.

The Mass Effect and the Dragon Age Teams are completely separate groups, thankfully.

I have a Female AND Male shep for ME and ME2 (Because you CANNOT EVER EVER EVER talk to Ashley in ME as a male and get her back story or she will go mad and rape you). You can only get her whole back story as a female from her. Which still pisses me off... grumble... This whole Digital Download exclusive on EA's Origin site is also making me mad. This would be a day one buy for me.... if it was on STEAM...
