  1. The re-makes of the originals DO HAVE the original game graphics and interface that you can switch too, in case you didn't know. The only thing they do not have is MIDI support for my Roland MT-32, which makes me very angry....
  2. That he is. Over the years Ive watched wave after wave of poster crash and break upon the rocky Volorian shores and yet there he stands untouched. Impressive. Well said.
  3. I miss Journal Entry DRM....
  4. Generalizing the codex from a brief peek at it, is not going to give you a good idea of the place. I've been there since 2004, and years ago as others have mentioned it was a very good place to discuss cRPG's completely and openly with no moderation (which of course allows the morans to run free). The last few years the forums are now flooded with spam posting and image spammers, but a few good and quality posters do still come around now and then. Thankfully most of the morans who run around do eventually get tired and leave, but then another new one comes to take their place. You do have to look hard to find good solid discussions, but they are there. The codex of late is basically a pile of elephant dung, but if you sift through that a little bit, you will eventually find a diamond. Codex Workshop forum is usually less spammed and can on occasion have some very good and in depth discussions there. And seeing peoples join dates can easily help you spot the terrible crap posters, and just ignore them and continue on. Just stay the hell away from General Discussions..... you have been warned. 5. Over-analyzing your game and with EA's mandated "accessibility" could really backfire on BioWare with Mass Effect 3. They better not mess it up. Or i will be VERY ANGRY!
  6. Remember when you used to actually die in cRPG's? Stupid beholder bastages.
  7. That was awesome!
  8. The music in that was Awesome. <3
  9. All of the old NWN and NWN2 forums are gone: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/17...42275/1#7649609 The social bioware nwn/nwn2 forums do however remain. Good job Atari. :salute:
  10. I've been having an absolute blast with this: http://www.ragingmole.com/RTC/index.html It's basically the old Dungeon Master game, but in a new engine (it uses all the old assets). I only finished the original game on my Amiga 500 once years ago, because it was so hard. heh. That said, almost finished with Level 5! Man, I forget what it was like to die so much in a game. <3
  11. That is an incredibly incredibly stupid move for EA considering STEAMS market saturation, if they are no longer going to put titles on it.
  12. I assume you are trolling......?
  13. EA Slaps Richard Garriot in the face as well as Ultima fans: http://kotaku.com/5808095/ea-is-launching-...team-competitor I will now never purchase any EA game from now on.
  14. If that wrapper app can finally work fine with BGII, we could finally experience and play Baldur's Gate exactly the way it was within the enhanced Baldur's Gate II engine. And not have to deal with all the limitations of TUTU, which are held down by all the hard-coded limitations of the BGII engine.
  15. NWN2 is one of the very few games I STILL have installed on my computer. I delete so many others, but this one game still remains.
  16. There was no Chaotic Command spell in the Original Baldur's Gate. That's again another BGtutu limitation.
  17. Is Levine actually working on this project?
  18. It's hilarious that sometime I can remember what is inside various treasure chests in this game, but I actually was stumped for a few minutes trying to remember how to solves this puzzle. Remember when we used to be able to do cool stuff like this in cRPG's? *sigh*
  19. There is a FFXIII-2?
  20. Ahhh thanks. I still to this day never did the Pantaloons quest.... I just could never figure it out on my own.
  21. Are those just in the data files or are they actually in the game? o.O I've never seen them...
  22. So Is this basically a QTE Adventure Game? Are there any "twitch" like mechanics or is it all QTE?
  23. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/05/18...ngs/#more-59696 Rock, Paper Shotgun has a kind of Review-esq review of The Witcher II. Nice read.
  24. Operation Flashpoint... I'll keep my money today. heh Yeah, this new Daily Deal didn't really start out with a bang...
