Long drawn out work day. Half crashing out. Needed to call the phone engineers out, because while the phone line is good, nothing actually rings when someone calls the landline. I'd run through all the possibilities in the house, so looks like it's a power issue at the phone junction box doohickie. Apparently a handful of houses in the area have called in with similar issues. Still, on other matters I primed and painted my armour carrier.. (It was that bright orange-yellow ToughMaster Tool Carrier) And slapped a basic Imperial Stencil on it. Now I've got something safer and secure to transport cosplay armour on the train to London MCM comic-con at the end of the month. Also found out I got accepted as a volunteer steward, so I'll be experiencing the con from that side of thing as well for the first time. Also picked up some assorted tools and dyes for leatherworking. I need to sketch some time out to start experimenting and figuring out how to do stuff....

PTW - In The Game for Ukraine

I have to admit, I mostly enjoyed Strange New Worlds. Of course, I've missed most of the setup of Discovery that led to it, but eh, I don't think too much of that is needed.

Had picked up a ToughMaster toolbox, planning to use it to transport the cosplay armour to and from Cons in. Strong, rigid, wheels on one edge, extendible arm on the other. Of course, it's got that bright yellow/orange and black plastic, so I'm planning out how to Star-Warzy it up a bit. Having a good weather weekend so I spent time setting things up to put some primer over the orange bits. Got halfway into it, and my can of primer runs out. Go to get the fresh one.. and find I've only got cans of paint, not cans of primer... Doh. I could have sworn I had another one somewhere around, but can I find it?
