I have to hold my hand up and admit, I quite liked Ollyphant's Agent 47. It was a fairly decent film adaption. I'd even say one of the best for video game to film. Not that it sets the standard high given most video game to film adaptions....

For that perspective.. Still, it is somewhat amusing to realise you're having to explain to someone "Yeah, I can't talk on the phone right now, I'm just sorting out the morphine solution for my mother.." Sentences you never think you'd say...

Well my mother was released from hospital today, and they used an ambulance to drop her home. So now it's let her recover a bit, regain her strength before they start looking into what measures to take for the cancer. On the somewhat oddball thing, as we were sorting out the variety of medicines and drugs sent home, figuring out the new ones, which of her old ones have been dropped, and any change in dosages/times taken, we found in her medical notes that one of the things she'd been diagnosed with during the last 10 weeks was pneumonia. Funny thing being that not one person actually told her that during the hospital stay.

For those who might not have heard yet.. How NBC is trying to keep Constantine going So I guess it's still a wait and see, but at least it's not outright cancellation just yet....

The Wertzone - Wheel of Time Gets TV Pilot More news as I get it. Update: The director of the "pilot", Seda James, passed away just a few days ago. Condolences to his friends and family. Update #2: Red Eagle have commented on the "pilot", confirming that they indeed made it to avoid losing the screen rights. They also confirm that they are pushing ahead with a plan to make a big-budget TV show, apparently because Game of Thrones is a big hit. No further word is given on if a reputable network is interested, or how they may proceed without known producers or writers on board.

Hm, Gorth do you know if you only get that solo option with the Shadow of Revan expansion pack on? I was just having a poke, and I can't seem to get that option up from the droid quest givers for any of the tactical flashpoints.

Haven't really played much around with those things with 3.0. Do tactical flashpoints do that automatically if you're not in a group, or is that something you have to set up elsewhere? I've run through Illum and Makeb with a bunch of mine, along with the Oricron re-runs and such. I've got a handful of 55 to 53 level characters.

Well way back when, when they did the big pre-release "weekend" beta I spent the time playing the Trooper and got to about 2/3 of the way through Tatooine. With my current Trooper I'm just wrapping up Tatooine, so now I'm ready for the fresh story of it all. I have to admit, now that I've completed all the other class storylines, I've kind of poked a bit at the end-game stuff, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to throw in my subscription shortly. I'll have a push to finish off my Trooper and I'll be done unless there's anything really interesting added. I liked how they had the whole "you can play solo, or you can play socially to do this game, all the classes have that option." but the moment you hit the end-game, it's all operations and serious guild/large groups of friends playing the game. Otherwise there's just a few things to do that just grind, grind, grind, for credits and equipment. And unless you can get into the operations, you start losing out on the general storylines of what's happening.

Put a final burst in, skipped the non-class missions on the latter half of Voss and Corellia to wrap up my Agent's class storyline. That was fairly entertaining, with some interesting twists back and forth. The only one I have left to push through now is the Trooper, have to decide whether I want to sink the time in to get that done...

Seriously, I needed to slow that part down, they went through a ton of gags in about 30 seconds, it was epic. You can find it on youtube easy enough.

See, I found the main thing that had me chuckle was the repeated in-joke about dredging the past because there are no new ideas. That and the whole Captains daughter moment. I would say the bit I found most entertaining about 22 Jump Street.. was the end credits and the whole run through of sequels to 44 Jump Street.

Plus, I have to point out SNL really doesn't travel outside of the US. We don't get re-showings of it, and half the time, any SNL clips are "Unavailable in your country" until about 6 months after the fact when someone puts it up on youtube... And of course, if you do see those clips, they don't actually include the names of the SNL cast. So unless it's someone known for something beyond that.. the odds of being recognised is pretty damn small.
